Who handles applications in India

The 30-day visa exemption for Indian ordinary passport holders for tourism and short-term business engagements remains effective from 15 September 2026 until further announcement (Royal Thai Embassy, New Delhi). Per the Embassy, with the e-Visa system in effect since 1 January 2025, all applicants are required to apply through https://www.thaievisa.go.th. VFS Global, official partner of the Embassy of Thailand in India, runs visa application centres under the jurisdictions of the Royal Thai Consulates-General in Chennai (Chennai, Bengaluru, Cochin, Hyderabad), Kolkata, and Mumbai (Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Ahmedabad), each publishing its own categories, fees and checklists.
