Questions agency owners ask

Who can become a Yatra travel-agent partner?

Any travel agency registered in Nepal with an Office of Company Registrar (OCR) certificate and a Nepal Tourism Board licence. Agencies in India and other South Asian markets can apply too — reviewed case-by-case.

What's the commission structure?

Net rates on hotels and flights (you mark up freely). Commission on visa services, tours, dummy tickets, and eSIM. Settlements are weekly. Full terms in the partner agreement.

Do I need to pay an onboarding fee?

No onboarding fee. You fund your wallet when you're ready to book. The minimum wallet top-up is NPR 10,000.

Can my staff have their own logins?

Yes. Each agency gets unlimited sub-accounts with per-role permissions (counter staff, accountant, owner). Every booking is attributed to the staff member who made it.

How do I issue dummy tickets to my customers?

From the agent dashboard, fill the dummy ticket form with the passenger's details — we issue a verified airline PNR within 15 minutes, delivered to your dashboard + your customer's email.

Does Yatra handle the visa paperwork for my customer?

Yes. Agent-submitted visa applications use the same document-review workflow as consumer applications — we review the file, catch common rejection reasons, and you collect the approved visa from us to pass to your client.
