A dummy flight ticket — also called a flight reservation document or itinerary — is a printable PDF showing the route, dates, and passenger details you intend to fly. It is used as proof-of-itinerary for visa applications. It is not a confirmed purchased ticket and the booking reference on it is a Yatra-issued document number, not an airline-issued PNR.

How does the trip.com link work?

Search your flight on trip.com, pick a fare, and copy the URL from the address bar on the flight detail page. We parse the itinerary (airline, flight numbers, times, terminals) directly from the link so you don't have to retype it.

How much does it cost?

Each reservation document is NPR 999 (USD 10), paid via Nabil Bank QR transfer (eSewa, Khalti, ConnectIPS, Fonepay, or any banking app).

Will embassies accept this document?

Many embassies accept itinerary documents like this for visa applications, but acceptance depends on the embassy and the visa class. We cannot guarantee any specific embassy outcome. Always check your destination's official requirements before relying on this document — for visas where the embassy explicitly requires a held airline PNR, you'll need a real reservation through an airline or travel agent.

Does the booking reference resolve on the airline website?

No. The booking reference printed on the PDF is a Yatra-issued document identifier, not an airline-issued PNR, so it will not appear in the airline's 'Manage Booking' page.

How long is the document valid?

The PDF you download is timestamped with a validity window, by default 48 hours from the moment of generation. You can extend the window from your account if your embassy appointment is delayed.
