Who handles applications in India

Visa applications are submitted personally at VFS Global Visa Application Centres; travel agents may not submit Schengen applications and fingerprints are taken from applicants aged 12+. The Embassy of Poland in New Delhi handles residents of northern/eastern states (incl. Delhi NCR, Punjab, UP, West Bengal, Rajasthan) and the Consulate General in Mumbai handles residents of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and others. Appointments are booked on the VFS website (New Delhi slots released every Wednesday at 11:00; Mumbai once a month, two months in advance) and the online application form must be filled at eforms.vfsglobal.com and carried to the centre.
