Who handles applications in India

Belgian visa applications in India are decided by the Embassy of Belgium in New Delhi / Consulate General in Mumbai and lodged at VFS Global Visa Application Centres. Applicants create an account and fill the form online on VisaOnWeb (visaonweb.diplomatie.be), print it and attend the VFS centre in person for live photo and fingerprints (children under 12 exempt from fingerprints for C visas). Only official passport holders, family members of EU citizens and VIPs with an Embassy appointment may apply directly at the Embassy/Consulate. VFS states new appointment slots are released every 1st Monday of the month for the upcoming month (East and North Zone).
