Citizens of India must hold a visa to enter Montenegro; Montenegro has no resident mission in India and visa applications are submitted at VFS centres (New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Kochi). Applicants must visit in person; third-party submission is not allowed. Applications are processed by the Consulate General of Montenegro in Istanbul (Turkey). Holders of a valid Schengen, US, UK or Irish visa or residence permit may enter, stay in or transit Montenegro for up to 30 days (no longer than the visa's expiry) without a Montenegrin visa.
