How do Indian citizens apply for a Malta visa?

Applies via: VFS Global

Who handles applications in India

Malta visa applications from India are submitted at VFS Global and decided by the High Commission of Malta in New Delhi; visa queries must be addressed to VFS, not the High Commission. Applications can be made up to 6 months in advance; VFS recommends applying at least 4 weeks before departure. Applicants' photographs and biometrics are captured at the VFS centre; documents must be submitted in person (original + copy), with a copy of PAN card and Aadhaar card. Maltese/EU/EEA family members needing a visa may write to visa.newdelhi@gov.mt for an appointment. Long-stay work permit applications through the Extended Service require a valid Approval in Principle (AIP) letter from Identity Malta before booking.
