How do Indian citizens apply for a Latvia visa?

Who handles applications in India

Indian citizens (and residents of India, Maldives, Myanmar and Bhutan) apply for a Latvian Schengen visa through the Embassy of Latvia in New Delhi; appointments for Schengen visa applicants are scheduled at the joint VFS Global Visa Application Centres for Latvia in India. All Schengen applicants must appear in person for biometrics. The VFS page asks short-stay customers to email appt_latvia_sa@vfsglobal.com to book an appointment. Long-stay (student/employment) applicants must first upload documents on Hello Verify, and student applicants are interviewed (by video conference at VACs outside New Delhi). Applications may be lodged no more than six months and at least 15 calendar days before the trip.
