Who handles applications in India

Visa applications are required for Indian citizens. Singapore does not use VFS in India: applications are submitted only through the Singapore missions' Authorised Visa Agents (AVAs), who file them online in ICA's e-Visa system; the High Commission in New Delhi and Consulates-General in Mumbai and Chennai do not accept walk-in applications. Mumbai handles Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat and Odisha; Chennai lists AVAs in Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad; New Delhi lists AVAs in Delhi, Amritsar and Chandigarh. Mumbai advises applying within 30 days prior to arrival.
