## Overview

Visa applications are required for Indian citizens. Singapore does not use VFS in India: applications are submitted only through the Singapore missions' Authorised Visa Agents (AVAs), who file them online in ICA's e-Visa system; the High Commission in New Delhi and Consulates-General in Mumbai and Chennai do not accept walk-in applications. Mumbai handles Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat and Odisha; Chennai lists AVAs in Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad; New Delhi lists AVAs in Delhi, Amritsar and Chandigarh. Mumbai advises applying within 30 days prior to arrival.

- Duly completed Form 14A signed by the applicant
- Valid passport with at least six months validity on the date of entry (photocopy of biodata page)
- 2 passport-sized colour photographs taken within the last three months (Mumbai: one recent photo)
- Form V39A Letter of Introduction (LOI) from a local contact (Singapore citizen or PR aged 21+), required case by case; LOI from your Embassy may be accepted
- Additional supporting documents case by case; documents in Hindi must be translated into English

- Local contact issuing the LOI must act on behalf of the Singapore-registered business entity

### 96-hour VFTF (transit)

- Valid onward air/ferry/cruise ticket departing Singapore within 96 hours (depart only by air or sea)
- Valid visa/long-term pass (valid at least 1 month from entry) issued by Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom or USA (Schengen visas good for Germany/Switzerland count)

- Even exposure; spectacle frames must not cover eyes and lenses must not glare
