Who handles applications in India

VFS Global no longer handles Greek visas in India (visa.vfsglobal.com/ind/en/grc returns 404). Visa applications are decided by the Embassy of Greece in New Delhi (Consular Office) and are submitted at the Greece Visa Application Centre run by the Embassy's external service provider, Global Visa Center World (GVCW), whose India site (in-gr.gvcworld.eu) is linked from the Embassy's visa page. The Embassy lists the New Delhi centre at Shivaji Stadium Metro Station; for national (D-type) visas the applicant must appear in person, be interviewed (possibly by video link at the provider's office) and give biometrics. Visa queries go to grcon.del@mfa.gr.
