Visa on arrival, eVisa or visa-free for Indians?

Visa on arrival
Not available: Türkiye's Foreign Ministry lists Indian ordinary passport holders as required to have a visa to enter, with a sticker visa from a Turkish mission or the conditional e-Visa as the only routes; unlike its entries for nationalities that can get visas on arrival at Turkish ports of entry, the India entry offers no arrival option.
eVisa / online visa
Available only conditionally: Indian ordinary passport holders with a valid Schengen member state, USA, UK or Ireland visa or residence permit may get a single-entry e-Visa valid for one month at www.evisa.gov.tr, provided they meet certain conditions (the supporting visa or permit must be valid on the entry date and carried in original); e-Visas are valid only for tourism or commerce, and other Indians, or anyone going to work or study, need a sticker visa applied for through VFS.
Visa-free entry
Not available: Türkiye's Foreign Ministry says Indian ordinary, special and service passport holders are required to have a visa to enter Türkiye (only diplomatic passport holders are visa-exempt for up to 90 days).
