About Kathmandu: Langtang Gosaikunda Trek guided by Local

Begin your adventure with a drive to Syabrubesi. Trek through bamboo forests to Lama Hotel, then continue to Langtang Village, where you can visit a gompa. Acclimatize with an optional hike to Kyanjin Gompa and trek to the Kyanjin Ri viewpoint.

Cross Lauribina La and descend to the Gosaikunda area, a Hindu pilgrimage site said to be the abode of Lord Shiva. Rest at Gosaikunda and hike around the holy lakes. Trek to Tharepati and Chisapani, crossing high ridges and descending through subtropical forests in Shivapuri National Park.

Experience traditional Tamang village life and Buddhist shrines along the trail.
