    Day 1 — Beijing

    Welcome to Beijing - a city where dynasties once ruled the known world and where daily life still unfolds in centuries-old alleyways.

    Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. During the drive, you'll gain your first glimpse of Beijing's grand avenues, ring roads, and glimpses of tiled rooftops tucked behind high walls.

    Day 2 — Beijing (Imperial Beijing & Hutong Culture & Peking Roast Duck)

    09:00 - 12:00 Visit Forbidden City - a vast palace complex where emperors governed China for nearly 500 years. Walk through grand ceremonial halls crowned with golden roofs, cross marble bridges, and step into the inner courtyards that once formed the political and private heart of the empire. As you move through the palace grounds, your guide will explain how imperial rituals were conducted and how life unfolded within these walls.
    12:30 - 13:30 Lunch
    14:00 - 17:00 Explore Hutongs. Enter the narrow lanes lined with traditional grey-brick courtyard houses, visit historic residences and courtyard homes once associated with notable figures. This experience is set in a traditional Hutong, where you'll enjoy an excerpt of Peking Opera accompanied by a traditional local refreshment.
    In the evening, enjoy a hearty dinner featuring Beijing's signature dish: Peking Roast Duck.

Entrance tickets, only available for online booking, are released 7 days in advance and often sell out quickly. While we will make every effort to secure your entrance ticket, your visit date to the Forbidden City may differ from the proposed itinerary.     Day 3 — Beijing (The Great Wall)

    08:00 - 09:30 Drive about 1.5 hours.
    10:00 - 13:00 Visit Mutianyu Great Wall. Ascend by cable car and walk along the stone ramparts, observing towers, passageways, and defensive openings. Take in panoramic views of the surrounding hills.
    13:30- 14:30 Lunch
    After lunch, return to the city and have the rest of the day at leisure.

    Day 4 — Beijing (Temple of Heaven & Tai Chi Experience) - Xi’an (Bullet Train Journey to Xi’an)

    Transfer via: High speed G train (Refence Train No. G323, 15:00 - 19:12), First Class Seat, arranged by us.

    09:00 - 11:30 Visit the Temple of Heaven, where emperors once prayed for good harvests beneath soaring circular roofs. In the lush park around it, follow a master to practice tai chi.
    12:00 - 13:00 Lunch
    Later, transfer to the railway station for your high-speed train to Xi'an - comfortable, smooth, and symbolic of modern China's rapid development.
    Upon arrival in Xi'an, the ancient eastern gateway of the Silk Road, be greeted by local tour guide.

    Day 5 — Xi’an (The Terracotta Warriors)

    09:00 - 10:00 Drive about 1 hour.
    10:00 - 13:00 Visit the Terracotta Warriors, one of the most significant discoveries of the 20th century. Stand before thousands of life-sized soldiers arranged in battle formation, each with distinct facial features, hairstyles, and armor details. View the Bronze Chariots and Horses, exquisitely detailed ceremonial vehicles unearthed near the emperor's tomb mound. They provide valuable insight into Qin Dynasty engineering, military organization, and burial customs.

    14:30 - 15:30 Drive about 1 hour back to city.

    Day 6 — Xi’an (Ancient City Wall & Muslim Quarter) - Chengdu (Train Journey to Chengdu)

    Transfer via: High speed G train (Reference Train No. G3353, 15:29 - 19:17), First Class Seat, arranged by us.

    08:00 - 08:30 Breakfast
    09:00 - 10:30 Walk along the ancient City Wall, one of the best-preserved city walls in China. From the ramparts, look out over traditional tiled rooftops inside the old city and modern high-rises beyond.
    11:00 - 13:30 Visit the lively Muslim Quarter, where narrow streets are lined with food stalls and long-established eateries. Sample well-known local specialties such as hand-pulled biangbiang noodles and roujiamo (often described as a Chinese-style hamburger), accompanied by freshly pressed pomegranate juice or traditional yogurt.
    After enjoying your lunch, board a high-speed train to Chengdu. On arrival, be welcomed and transferred to the hotel.

    Day 7 — Chengdu (Giant Pandas & Leisure Time)

    08:40 - 11:30 Visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where you can observe China's beloved pandas in a carefully protected environment. Watching these gentle animals feeding and playing offers an unforgettable experience.
    12:00- 13:30 Enjoy a traditional Sichuan hot pot lunch, famous for its bold flavors and aromatic spices. Later, free time to explore Chunxi Road at your own pace.

    Day 8 — Chengdu (Mahjong and Tea Experience) - Shanghai (Flight to Shanghai)

    09:00 - 11:30 Spend the morning exploring the People's Park, like locals do. Here, you can see the locals singing and dancing, exercising, drinking tea, playing Mahjong at the century-old teahouses. The most interesting, you will see how the parents are trying to find a partner for their adult kids on the "Marriage Match Corner".
    Sit down in a tea house, join the locals playing Mahjong to taste authentic Chengdu lifestyle.

    Day 9 — Shanghai (Old & New)

    09:00 - 10:30 Visit Jade Buddha Temple, an active Buddhist temple that houses two finely carved white jade Buddha statues brought from Myanmar in the late 19th century. The temple remains a functioning place of worship, offering insight into contemporary urban religious life.
    11:00 - 12:30 Explore Yu Garden, a classical Ming-era garden featuring intricately arranged rockeries, curved bridges, pavilions, and koi-filled ponds. Nearby, explore the Yu Yuan Market area, where traditional-style architecture and small shops reflect the commercial character of old Shanghai.
    12:30 - 13:30 Dim sum lunch
    14:00 - 16:00 Walk through the former French Concession, enjoy a cup of coffee or bubble tea.
    16:30 - 18:00 Stroll along the Bund. Early 20th-century buildings line the waterfront, facing the modern skyline of Pudong across the river - illustrating Shanghai's layered development over time.

    Day 10 — Shanghai (Zhujiajiao Water Town)

    【Reference Itinerary】
    08:00 - 08:30 Breakfast
    09:00 - 10:00 Drive about 1 hour.
    10:00 - 13:00 Visit Zhujiajiao, a historic water town with over 1,000 years of history. Located along a network of canals, the town developed as a trading settlement in the Jiangnan region south of the Yangtze River.
    Board a traditional wooden boat and cruise along its narrow waterways, passing beneath arched stone bridges and alongside whitewashed houses topped with dark tiles. Back on land, walk through stone-paved lanes lined with small shops, teahouses, and long-standing family businesses that reflect the town's commercial heritage.

    14:00 - 15:00 Drive about 1 hour back to Shanghai.
    This evening, enjoy a hearty farewell dinner.
