Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 — Travelling to Zurich
Arrival in Zurich (private transfer from Zurich Airport to the first hotel is included) and enjoy your first day at leisure in Switzerland's biggest city. Meet up with the rest of the group in your hotel.

Day 2 — Journey to St. Moritz
Breakfast at the hotel.
Meet your tour manager in the lobby and proceed to Zurich's main station to board the regional train to Chur. Change trains there and proceed via the UNESCO Albula Line to St. Moritz, in the heart of the Engadin Valley.

Day 3 — Journey on the Bernina Express
Breakfast at the Hotel.
Today join the scenic Bernina Express for a journey to the Italian town of Tirano, passing over the Bernina Pass and the scenic Lago Bianco along the way. Time will be allowed to explore Tirano before returning on a direct regional train back to St. Moritz.

Day 4 — Journey on the Glacier Express
Breakfast at the hotel.
Take the world-famous Glacier Express to Zermatt. Enjoy some of the spectacular scenery Switzerland has to offer. The train travels through an incredibly fascinating part of the Alps, passing over the scenic Oberalp Pass and through the wonderful village of Andermatt, eventually reaching Zermatt at the foot of the mighty Matterhorn.

Day 5 — Mountain excursion to the Gornergrat
Breakfast at the hotel.
Enjoy a day in Zermatt, including a trip to the Gornergrat by cogwheel railway, taking in spectacular views of the Matterhorn when at the summit.

Day 6 — Journey to Montreux
Breakfast at the hotel.
Travel by regional trains from Zermatt to Montreux, changing along the way in Visp. Upon arrival in Montreux enjoy time at leisure at this stunning lakeside resort.

Day 7 — Wine tasting and excursion to Lausanne
Breakfast at the hotel.
The first stop today is at the village of Puidoux, which is reached by regional train from Montreux and Vevey. Here you can enjoy a 1 hour tasting session at the local Domaine Bovy, a family run winery overlooking the lake.
Following this, the group will visit Lausanne and some time at leisure allowed to explore the city.

Day 8 — Journey on the GoldenPass Express and Lucerne-Interlaken Express
Breakfast at the hotel.
Board the GoldenPass Express which passes through different language areas, landscapes and countless lakes on the way to Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland. Some time will be allowed in Interlaken for lunch and to explore at your own pace. In the afternoon continue by Lucerne-Interlaken Express over the Brünig Pass and alongside Lake Brienz to Lucerne, your overnight stop.

Day 9 — Mountain excursion to the Rigi
Breakfast at the hotel.
Enjoy a round trip to the summit of Mount Rigi, combining boat, cogwheel railway and regional train. Enjoy the panorama of Lake Lucerne and the surrounding peaks from the summit.

Day 10 — Return journey from Lucerne

Up on our confirmation being raised : In case of a cancellation the following fees in percentage of the package price apply, unless otherwise specified on our product tariffs or when advised differently by our staff at time of booking.
- Up to 32 days before travel: handling fee (CHF 120/booking)
- 31 - 17 days before travel: 30% of overall package cost, min. CHF120/booking
- 16 - 10 days before travel: 60% of overall package cost, min. CHF120/booking
- 09 - 0 days days before travel or no show: 100% of overall package cost
- After our confirmation has been raised, we will charge an amendment fee of CHF 60/booking, file plus any charges that may be made by our own suppliers. This particularly will apply where non-refundable rates have been booked.
- If changes only convern name changes, we charge the following fees CHF30/booking file plus any charges that may be made by our own suppliers.

Special notes
- A minimum uptake of 4 passengers is required for a departure to proceed. If this is not met, the tour will be operated on an FIT basis without a tour manager.
- In case of changes that require a complete re-book of a holiday package in more than one location, regardless if documents have been issue or not, we will treat this as a cancellation and our below cancellation fees apply plus any charges that may be made by our own suppliers.
- The hotels for each night will be confirmed after the booking is confirmed and paid in full.
- All prices are subject to availability. If a partner hotel is not available, we will offer alternative accommodation. Supplements or reductions may apply.
- We will make every effort to fulfil your booking request at the package price. However, if we are unable to confirm the booking at the package price due to circumstances beyond our control, a supplemental charge may be required. You will be notified of any additional charges at the time of the request.
