Day 3 — Solar Eclipse day
Start the day in the Northernmost capital, Reykjavík, at your own pace. Stroll along the charming main shopping street, Laugavegur, where you'll find unique boutiques, cozy cafes, and local art galleries. Take your time, explore, and perhaps pick up a few Icelandic souvenirs to remember this special journey.
Later in the day, begin preparing for the incredible Solar Eclipse. As the moon moves in front of the sun, the sky will darken and turn into an awe-inspiring moment of nature's power. We'll provide you with special Solar Eclipse glasses, ensuring you can safely witness this rare event. For an even better view, we'll have a telescope set up at a cozy restaurant, where you'll be able to marvel at the sky in comfort.
The experience will conclude with a delightful 3-course dinner and a glass of sparkling wine allowing you to reflect on the extraordinary sights and sounds of the day. Let this celestial moment be a memorable highlight of your Icelandic adventure with us.
Note: While this tour is designed to offer the best possible viewing experience, please note that clear skies cannot be guaranteed for Solar Eclipse Day. Like the northern lights, this rare celestial event depends on natural conditions beyond our control. Every effort will be made to provide an unforgettable experience, whether on land or water.
