    Day 1 — Reykjavik

    Individual transfer by Flybus shuttle bus from Keflavik airport to your accommodation in Reykjavik. You may explore Iceland's capital city on your own if time allows.

    Day 2 — Reykjavík City Tour, Reykjanes Peninsula & Relaxation at Blue Lagoon

    We begin the tour in the hotel lobby, where you will meet your guide at 09:00. Your guide will show you the highlights of Iceland's exciting capital. Afterwards, we will head to the Reykjanes Peninsula, with its moonlike landscape, hot springs, and mountains. We will end the sightseeing at the famous Blue Lagoon for some relaxation.
    Relax in the warm, mineral-rich waters of the Blue Lagoon and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding lava fields. Then, we will continue our journey south to the charming village of Hella. We will settle in there and stay for the next two nights. This peaceful village offers a perfect base for exploring the natural beauty of South Iceland.

    Day 3 — Exploring South Iceland & Optional Glacier Hike

    We begin the day at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Make sure you have waterproof clothing as you can walk behind the falls.
    Afterwards, we will drive along the scenic route to Skógar. There, you can explore the Skógar Folk Museum and discover early modern Iceland through its turf houses and folklore. Then, we are off to visit the majestic Skógafoss waterfall.
    Here, you have the option to book a glacier hike on the Sólheimajökull glacier tongue. This adventure includes a guided walk on the glacier. This is where you will see stunning ice formations, deep crevasses, and a unique landscape shaped by the glacier's movements.
    The price per person is 120 EUR (subject to availability). The tour lasts 3 hours in total, with 1-1.5 hours spent on the ice, providing ample time to explore this icy wonderland.
    If you choose not to participate in the glacier hike, the tour will continue south to the famous Reynisfjara black sand beach. You might also see the Cap of Dyrhólaey and the Reynisdrangar Sea Cliffs. Afterwards, we will visit the village of Vík before heading back to our hotel in the town of Hella.

    Day 4 — Iconic Golden Circle & Icelandic Horses

    On this last day, we will drive the famous Golden Circle route, starting with a stop at a geothermal greenhouse and horse stable. Here, you will learn about the Icelandic horse and its history. Our second stop of the day is Geysir, where you can witness Strokkur, also known as "the Churn," erupt every 5-7 minutes. Although the original geyser is dormant, you can still walk up to it. Just a bit further along the route is Gullfoss, or "the Golden Falls," a truly breathtaking sight. We will wrap up the day with a visit to Þingvellir, one of Iceland's National Parks and a UNESCO World Heritage site. This is the home of the world's oldest parliament. Here, you can witness the dramatic rift caused by the tectonic plates of North America and Eurasia beneath the park. The lava fields here tell countless stories of the past, steeped in history.

  • Northern Lights are only visible from September to mid-April. Northern Lights cannot be guaranteed, but on longer tours there is a higher chance to see the Auroras.
  • Itineraries may be subject to change at short notice during severe weather conditions and certain outdoor activities/day trips may be cancelled during the winter season in Iceland. In these rare cases, where situations of force majeure apply, excursions/activities cannot be refunded but the local guides will try their best to find reasonable alternatives where and whenever possible.

  • Q&A:
    Where should I meet the guide?
    Meet with your tour guide on day 2 in the lobby of your hotel. If you booked the comfort version please be in the lobby between 8:30-08:45 and if you booked be budget version please be in the lobby between 08:45-09:00.
    When and where does the tour start?
    The tour starts on day 2, just before 9:00 am, in the lobby of your hotel.
    What are the first and last days for?
    Arrival and departure days are to make your flight arrangements easier and to have a free day of leisure. The tour starts on day 2 and ends the day before departure.
    Do you arrange airport transfers?
    We provide airport transfers with the Flybus, available in the arrival hall at Keflavik airport.
    In what language is the tour?
    All of our tours are English-speaking.
    What is the midnight sun?
    During the summer months, Iceland gets a few days where the sun never even touches the horizon, ending in 24 hours of Daylight. This phenomenon is most visible around the Summer Solstice, June 21st.
    Can you assist with booking additional accommodation?
    Of course, we can help you book pre/post-tour accommodation if you wish to stay in the same hotels as the ones we use on tour. We always have some rooms on an allotment for pre/post nights. If you would like to stay an extra day in Reykjavík before or after the tour, please contact our team.
    I'm a solo traveller. Is there a single supplement?
    A single supplement is mandatory for this trip if you want to have your own room.
    What is the age range?
    The minimum age limit for this tour is 8 years old, and we don't recommend it for younger children. There is, on the other hand, no maximum age for this tour.
    Are the flights included?
    Flights before and after the tour are not included.
    What is the suggested budget for meals?
    Somewhere between 8.000 and 15.000 ISK per person per day is a good budget for lunch and dinner while on tour.
    Are there locations to purchase food while we are on the trip, or must the meals be pre-packed?
    We will make stops during the tour at restaurants, supermarkets and gas stations where meals, drinks and snacks can be purchased while on tour.
    How much time is spent at each attraction?
    We stop for about 40 minutes at each attraction.
