Departing from the hotel in the morning, we head west, passing the strikingly layered Castle Mountain, a prominent peak in the Rocky Mountains located between the town of Banff and Lake Louise. It serves as a memorable landmark along the Trans-Canada Highway. Don't miss the spectacular views along the way, as even more breathtaking scenery awaits. Marble Canyon (Visit duration: 45 minutes) features a zigzagging trail over seven pedestrian bridges crossing a deep limestone gorge carved by Tokumm Creek, which joins the Vermilion River. The area is renowned for fossil discoveries of Cambrian-era soft-bodied creatures from millions of years ago. Narrow trails and frozen waterfalls tumbling down the cliffs provide dramatic views and a refreshing atmosphere. Lake Louise (Visit duration: 75 minutes) shines in stunning sapphire blue, a result of mineral-rich glacial water. Surrounded by the towering Victoria Glacier, the lake is often referred to as the "Jewel of the Rockies." Looking back from the lakeshore, the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise stands quietly amidst the pine forest, awaiting visitors. Moraine Lake (Visit duration: 75 minutes, includes meal time; estimated to open on June 1. If closed, it will be replaced by Vermilion Lakes [15 minutes] and Cave and Basin National Historic Site [45 minutes]). The emerald waters of the lake reflect the majestic Ten Peaks, offering an unforgettable panoramic view from the lookout.Passing by the Spiral Tunnel, we continue into Yoho National Park, arriving at the tranquil Emerald Lake (Visit duration: 20 minutes), where mountain reflections and red canoes ripple across the calm, jade-coloured waters. At the Natural Bridge (Visit duration: 15 minutes), carved by the powerful flow of the Kicking Horse River, rock formations span the water, framed by evergreens, distant peaks, and gravel banks, creating a picturesque natural scene. The day concludes with check-in at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, where you can unwind and savour a peaceful evening.

Day 2 — Banff - Bow Lake - Peyto Lake - Sunwapta Falls - Maligne Lake Cruise - Jasper Town
Banff → Bow Lake (20 min) → Peyto Lake (30 min) → Lunch at The Crossing (self-paid, 30 min) → Sunwapta Falls (20 min) → Maligne Lake Cruise (90 min) → Jasper Town
Departing from the hotel, travel along the scenic Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) toward the Canadian Rockies, which have been named a top travel destination by Lonely Planet. On the way, enjoy views of Crowfoot Glacier and stop at Bow Lake (20-minute visit), where the crystal-clear mirror-like waters reflect the blue skies and rugged peaks of the Rockies. Continue to the maple leaf-shaped Peyto Lake (30-minute visit). If closed due to maintenance or other uncontrollable factors, the stop will be replaced with a visit to Waterfowl Lake. The vivid turquoise lake sits like a ribbon tucked into the Rocky Mountain valley. Stop for a short break and lunch (on your own, 30 minutes) at The Crossing, a popular rest area. Then continue along Icefields Parkway (Highway 93), often called "North America's most scenic drive" by National Geographic. The route features alpine meadows, glacial lakes, forests, and waterfalls—like driving through a natural cathedral.Arrive at Sunwapta Falls (20-minute visit), where glacial meltwater rushes over rocky cliffs in a powerful display. Pass by Medicine Lake before reaching Maligne Lake, where you may choose to join the optional Maligne Lake Cruise (seasonal and self-paid, 90-minute visit). If the cruise is unavailable (before May 30 or due to weather), the visit will be adjusted to 45 minutes at Maligne Lake plus 30 minutes at Pyramid Lake. If joining the cruise, you'll glide 22 km across the pristine lake to Spirit Island, known as the "meeting place of the gods." Afterward, drive into the heart and soul of Jasper National Park—Jasper Town—and check into your hotel.
