    Day 1 — Hola Madrid

    Color outside the lines on this unforgettable encounter with the intoxicating lands of Spain, Morocco and Portugal. Kick off your unforgettable journey in the fiery Spanish capital of Madrid. This evening, explore the city's vibrant streets, before joining your fellow travelers and Travel Director for dinner and an orientation drive.

    Day 2 — Explore Fiery Madrid

    Join your Local Specialist on this day of discovery, which includes views of the iconic Cibeles fountain and Paseo de la Castellana. Admire the Royal Palace and El Retiro Park, originally created as a retreat for the royal family, before spending the rest of the day at leisure indulging in la buena vida. Consider an Optional Experience to the medieval UNESCO-listed city of Segovia or encounter the greatest collection of Spanish art in the world at El Prado.

    Day 3 — Onwards to Toledo and Granada

    Witness the influence of Christians, Muslims and Jews that has spanned centuries in the imperial city of Toledo. Join your Local Specialist for a walking tour, during which you'll visit the Church of Santo Tomé, home to El Greco's most famous painting - 'The Burial of the Count of Orgaz'. Then, visit the synagogue of Santa Maria La Blanca, believed to be the oldest one still standing in Europe. Celebrate the tradition of steel and Damascene manufacturing and molding as you Dive Into Culture at a local workshop, before your journey continues through the soul-stirring Andalusian landscape to Granada, where we'll spend the night.

    Day 4 — Journey to the Sunny Costa del Sol

    Tread in the footsteps of Spain's last emirs and admire the impressive Alhambra - a collection of palaces and fortresses dating from the 12 century. We join a Local Specialist to explore its intricate designs, tranquil gardens and colossal walls, believed to have been inspired by poetry and reflecting the description of paradise found in Islamic verse. Later, we leave this 'paradise on earth' behind and continue to the Costa del Sol.
    Note: Access to attractions within the Alhambra complex, including the Nasrid Palace, is at the discretion of the staff of the Alhambra. Your Travel Director will advise and, if necessary, adjust your itinerary accordingly.

    Day 5 — Cross the Strait of Gibraltar to Fes

    We travel along the sun-kissed shores of the Mediterranean and cross to North Africa by ferry. A memorable drive past the Rif Mountains brings us to Fes, a storied hub of traditional craftsmanship and our home for the next two nights.

    Day 6 — The Medina and More in Fes

    Join a Local Specialist for a sightseeing tour through the cultural and spiritual center of Morocco. First, a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience to the non-profit American Fondouk, speak with the volunteer veterinarians who care so passionately for the welfare of the animals. Stroll through the Medina of Fes, view its fortifications and Royal Palace, and admire traditional Moroccan handiwork during a visit to a carpet cooperative. Spend the rest of your afternoon at leisure. Tonight, maybe join an Optional Experience Arabian dinner in a traditional riad – a night of heartfelt local entertainment, including belly dancing, awaits.

    Day 7 — Off to Vibrant Marrakesh

    Departing Fes, we journey west through the golden landscape which turns to rusty red, bound for vibrant Marrakesh. Past and present collide in the world-famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square. Embrace the unrivaled energy of this cultural and economic hub.

    Day 8 — Discover Marrakesh

    Visit the elegant Dar El Bacha Palace during your walking tour with a Local Specialist. See Jemaa el-Fnaa Square in the Old Quarter with its palm-readers, storytellers and snake charmers. Visit a traditional Moroccan pharmacy and Dive into Culture as you learn about the art of blending creams and cosmetics with regional ingredients. The rest of the day is yours to explore. Don't miss the chance to shop for bargains in the souks (markets) and bazaars, or perhaps visit a local Berber village.

    Day 9 — Continue to Casablanca and Rabat

    Journey north to Casablanca and enjoy a visit to the Hassan II Mosque with your Local Specialist, before arriving in the country's capital city.

    Day 10 — Continue to Tangier

    Today, you explore Rabat with your local specialist, stop at the opulent Mohammed V Mausoleum and admire Rabat's cityscape, its historic and modern centers traversed by the Bou Regreg River below. Later, we continue to Tangier, a gateway between Africa and Europe as prominent today as in Phoenician times. Our unique Stays With Stories this evening is the sumptuous El Minzah, an icon of the city overlooking the Bay of Tangiers and the sparkling Mediterranean beyond. The grand property, built in the Spanish-Moorish style in 1930, has welcomed the rich and famous over the past century. You’ll get to experience its warm hospitality for yourself as you contemplate the building's colorful history.

    Day 11 — Sail the Strait to Seville

    Crossing the Strait of Gibraltar by ferry, we return to Spain and journey past the region of Jerez, renowned as the origin of Spanish sherry. Drive through Andalucía and arrive in Seville. What better way to experience this lively city than witnessing the passion of flamenco. Immerse yourself in the spectacle of colorful swirling skirts and fervent rhythm of castanets during an unforgettable optional Flamenco performance this evening.

    Day 12 — Explore Spectacular Seville

    Join your Local Specialist for a sightseeing tour which will take you past the iconic Giralda Bell Tower. Admire the tiled fountains and pavilions in the Maria Luisa Park, the showcase for the Ibero-American Exhibition in 1929, and see the imposing Plaza de España. Visit the ornate tomb of Christopher Columbus in the largest Gothic Cathedral in the world, then enjoy a walk through the lovely historic Jewish Quarter.

    Day 13 — Venture to Évora

    Leaving the zesty scents of Seville behind, we head to the golden landscapes of the Alentejo, where the Brito Paes family await our arrival for a special lunch on their traditional stud ranch, which has been rearing Lusitano horses since the 18th century. This Be My Guest experience takes place in the home of their ancestors before we continue to Évora for a guided sightseeing tour. With a Local Specialist visit Evora's cathedral, Roman temple and Chapel of Bones. Tonight, relax with dinner at your hotel.

    Day 14 — On to Lively Lisbon

    You can start your day exploring Evora's maze of cobblestone streets or with an Oprtional Experience visit to Monsaraz, a fortified hilltop town set deep in the Alentejo. In the afternoon, say farewell to the cork trees of the Alentejo region and hello to the pastels of the Portuguese capital, where you'll join a Local Specialist for a sightseeing tour. You'll have an opportunity to Dive into Culture with a visit to the Belém Quarter and a taste of traditional Pastéis de Belém.

    Day 15 — Lisbon Your Way

    Enjoy the day sauntering along Lisbon's grand shopping boulevards and the narrow lanes of Bairro Alto or consider joining an Optional Experience to the historic towns of Cascais and Sintra. This evening, enjoy dinner with newfound friends and your Travel Director, toasting to an epic Iberian holiday.

    Day 16 — Journey Home

    Our epic journey through Spain, Morocco and Portugal comes to an end this morning. All that's left is to say a fond farewell to your newfound friends and an unforgettable experience shared. Your coach transfer will return to Madrid.

Costs for booking may be incurred. Costs and charges may increase the closer to the departure date that changes are made. We will try to make your requested change, but it may on occasion not be possible.

Special notes

Passports, Visas and other Entry/Exit Requirements
All guests must be in possession of a machine-readable passport valid for 6 months after their trip return date along with applicable visas. Due to government imposed security/ immigration measures, passport and emergency contact information is required for all guests prior to the release of travel documents.
It is the guest's sole responsibility to secure and/or pay for any and all visas, or Electronic Travel Authorizations (ETAs), affidavits, vaccinations, etc. that are required in order to be permitted entry into each destination. In some countries you may be subject to entry (reciprocity) fees and/or departure taxes/exit fees which will be collected at the airports upon entry/departure by local government authorities.
You should check with your Travel Agent or Consular Service for information regarding necessary visa and travel documentation for your entire trip. Where possible we strongly recommend obtaining any required visa or documentation prior to departure. Obtaining documentation while traveling can be a time-consuming process and some countries will not issue documentation at the border. For some countries an invitation letter is required from the Ground Handler to send along with the visa application.
Please note that entry to any country may be refused even if the required information and travel documents are complete. The Provider will require full passport information (full name, date of birth, passport number, Nationality, issue and expiry dates) prior to final payment.
For up-to-date detailed information on travel documents and visas, entry/exit taxes and further information on entry and exit requirements please check with your Travel Agent or local consular services. Obtaining and carrying these documents is your sole responsibility.
The Provider bears no responsibility for such information and will not be responsible for advising and/or obtaining required travel documentation for any guest, or for any delays, damages, and/or losses including missed portions of your vacation related to improper documentation or government decisions about entry.
Departure Date
The departure date is the date indicated on the booking confirmation.
Security
Security is a major concern to all of us and the situation globally is constantly changing. Events around the world, coupled with the "Travel Advisories" put out by various governments, may at times necessitate changes to the accommodations and itinerary or even trip cancelation. You must accept these risks involved in travel to any country that may experience security difficulties and accept responsibility for your own travel decisions.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is highly recommended for all guests covering all applicable dates of travel with the Provider. This insurance should cover: trip interruption, personal injury, medical expenses, evacuation and repatriation cover including during pandemic events. The choice of insurer is yours.
The availability of travel insurance and extent of cover is constantly changing. The Provider may receive a commission for introducing you to a travel insurance provider.
The Provider cannot be held responsible for your failure to obtain insurance which is appropriate, and we recommend you purchase your insurance at or soon after booking your trip. The Provider (other than in circumstances where the Provider has been negligent) will not be held liable for any costs incurred by the guest resulting from their failure to obtain adequate travel insurance.
Force Majeure
Force Majeure Event means any event or circumstance beyond the control of the Provider, including but not limited to: (a) an act of god (such as earthquake, flood, fire, explosion, landslide, lightning, action of the elements, force of nature, washout, typhoon, hurricane, cyclone, tsunami, storm or storm warning or natural disaster); (b) industrial disputes, work ban or other labour dispute or difficulty; (c) acts of terrorism, political unrest, war or threat of war, riots or civil strife; (d) failure or delays to scheduled transportation and the closure of airports or ports; (e) pandemic, epidemic or health risk; (f) governmental and administrative actions (including closure of borders and travel warnings and restrictions).

Pricing notes (children, single supplement)
* Price for Single Occupancy applies when one person stays in one standard hotel room.
* Price for Double/Triple Occupancy applies when two/three people stay in one standard hotel room respectively.
* Maximum room capacity: 3 people including adult and child/infant.
* Triple room bookings are available on the majority of our tours, suitable for 2 adults and 1 child. When booking your trip, we define a child as somebody aged 5 - 17, we do not accept children under the age of 5. A triple room is not recommended for 3 adults, as the third bed is often a rollaway, which may not be comfortable for an adult. 
* If you're on a trip as a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children), then you would require 1 triple room (for 1 adult and 2 children), and 1 double room (1 adult and 1 child).
