Day 1 — Banff - Lake Louise

Day 2 — Lake Louise - Icefields Parkway
It's time to visit those iconic blue lakes you've seen on postcards! Lake Louise is calling, along with Moraine Lake (seasonal), before we journey along the Icefields Parkway, offering breathtaking views of jagged peaks, glaciers, raging rivers, and more turquoise lakes. Keep an eye out for Canadian wildlife like bears, moose, and elk as we stop at the stunning Crowfoot Glacier, Peyto Lake (a favorite of ours), and Mistaya Canyon.
Finally, we'll arrive at our rustic wilderness hostel, where you can relax with a dip and sauna, enjoy a campfire under the stars, and share a home-cooked potluck dinner with fellow travelers.

Day 3 — Icefields Parkway - Banff
Today, we explore Jasper National Park! First, we'll stop at Big Bend Lookout for a breathtaking view of the North Saskatchewan River Valley. Then, we'll head to the Columbia Icefield, the largest icefield in the Rocky Mountains at 325 square kilometres, where we'll hike to the toe of the Athabasca Glacier (conditions permitting).
Afterward, we'll stop at Sunwapta Falls (parking permitting), a stunning pair of waterfalls surrounded by rugged wilderness. Next, we'll visit Athabasca Falls, a powerful waterfall known for its dramatic beauty. Our journey concludes in Banff, where you'll enjoy dinner and say goodbye to your new lifelong friends.

Special notes

What To Bring:
- 1 pair of comfortable shoes for trail walking. Hiking boots are not required unless you plan to do more challenging hikes on your own. If you're traveling in spring or autumn, when conditions may be wet, snowy, or muddy, consider bringing hiking shoes.
- 1 pair of smart-casual shoes
- 1 pair of flip-flops/thongs/jandals
- 2 pairs of jeans/long pants
- 2 pairs of shorts/skirts
- 4 shirts/t-shirts
- 2 sweaters/jumpers (layers are key!)
- Smart-casual evening wear
- Underwear and socks
- Swimsuit and towel
- 1 rain/windproof jacket
- Hat for sun and rain protection
- Beanie (called a toque in Canada) and light gloves—temperatures can drop in the Rockies and Coastal Mountains at higher altitudes or near glaciers, even in summer!
Baggage Allowance: Each traveller is allowed to bring one main piece of luggage, such as a backpack, bag, or suitcase, which will be stored in the rear luggage compartment of the bus on travel days. The maximum allowable weight is 23 kg (50 lbs), and the total linear dimensions (Height + Width + Depth) must not exceed 158 cm (62 in). Backpacks are recommended over suitcases as they optimize storage space in the luggage compartment and are easier to carry up the stairs at the hostels we use, none of which have elevators. In addition, each passenger may bring one "carry-on" item, such as a day pack or small bag, which will be kept in the passenger compartment of the bus.
You'll have the opportunity to swim in the stunning glacial lakes on Day 1 and Day 2! Be sure to pack your swimsuit and a towel in your carry-on bag on these days. This will save you and your Moose guide the hassle of digging your main bag out of the rear luggage storage when you arrive at the lake.
Please confirm your chosen pick-up location at least one week prior to your departure date.
