1. 1

   Day 1 — Arrived Cairns

   Our lovely driver will pick you up at the airport and then transfer you to the hotel.  You can relax and use the rest of the day to explore the city in tropical Far North Queensland.

   Day 2 — Cairns Discover Tour

   Discover the vibrant history of Cairns as you immerse yourself in the rich, cultural heritage unique to Far North Queensland on your Cairns Discover tour. First, we will Visit St Monica's Cathedral, one of the most breathtaking cathedrals in all of Australia with the world's largest themed stained glass windows. You'll enjoy afternoon tea at the Flecker Botanical Gardens – imagine warm, fresh-from-the-oven scones with jam and cream, and your choice of locally grown Devonshire Tea, Coffee, or Hot Chocolate. Afterward, you'll join a professional guided walk through the Flecker Botanical Gardens, renowned for having one of the best exhibitions in Australia of tropical plants. Wander along butterfly-lined pathways under a lush green canopy, and listen as your guide points out the various plants and wildlife along the way. View Cairns and its panoramic hillside views from some of the most stunning vantage points and lookouts, before heading to Barron Falls for a walk at the lower section of the Barron Gorge National Park to Surprise Creek Falls.
   Lastly, visit stunning Palm Cove and stroll along the beach, or out to the end of the jetty to watch the sunset behind the mountains. You’ll return to your accommodation at 6:00 pm.

   Day 3 — Kuranda Rainforest

   The rainforests and grasslands of Tropical North Queensland are incredibly diverse ecosystems, home to 3000 different plant species, 400-plus birds, and 100-plus mammals, many of which are found nowhere else on earth.
   Board the Kuranda Scenic Railway for a spectacular journey with stunning views, pass massive Barron Falls, Stoney Creek, and cross steep ravines
   Free time to explore Kuranda – the village in the rainforest
   Browse the markets, shops, and art galleries
   Visit Rainforestation Nature Park set in a lush tropical environment
   Tour the world heritage rainforest in a 6-wheel drive amphibious World War 2 Army Duck
   Learn of rainforest ecology on land and water, meet many of the unique inhabitants – butterflies, water dragons, pythons, turtles and eels
   Tropical Fruit Orchard
   Witness the Pamagirri Aboriginal dancers perform in the rainforest amphitheater
   Experience a Dreamtime Walk and learn of Aboriginal culture, spear-throwing demonstrations, and try your hand at boomerang throwing!
   See native wildlife close-up – kangaroos, wombats, koalas and crocodiles

   Day 4 — Great Barrier Reef Adventure

   Escape into a world of surprises to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Outer Great Barrier Reef. The stable reef activity platform is the perfect base for swimmers and non-swimmers to explore. Snorkel and/or dive, visit the underwater observatory, cruise in a semi-sub, or just relax on the sundeck with a delicious buffet lunch. Join us and the Great Barrier Reef’s vibrant marine life for a voyage into one of the natural wonders of the world.
   In addition to the activities included in your tour, there is also a wide range of optional activities to experience on our Outer Great Barrier Reef activity platform.    Day 5 — Daintree Wilderness

   Experience the best of the Daintree and Cape Tribulation. This adventure tour combines the best of the area and includes guaranteed wildlife spotting, beach, and rainforest. Get up close to Australian animals at Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas, cross the Daintree River on the cable ferry, and enjoy a tropical lunch. Learn about iconic Daintree Rainforest flora and fauna and a guided rainforest boardwalk tour. Visit Cape Tribulation Beach and see where the rainforest meets the reef. Marvel at views at Alexandra Lookout and search for crocodiles on a Daintree River cruise
