Day-by-day itinerary

  1. 1

    Day 1 — Arrival at Zurich Airport

    Your local driver will greet you at the arrival hall of Zurich Airport, lead you to your comfortable seat in a business-type car or a minivan.
    Overnight stay in Zurich.

  2. 2

    Day 2 — Zurich - Rhine Falls - Zurich

    Breakfast at the hotel followed by 2hrs guided walking tour in Zurich followed by a lunch break in a local restaurant (lunch not included).
    The driver will then meet you to continue your trip to explore the Rhine Falls, the most powerful waterfall in Europe.
    Enjoy the freshness of the alpine water and take the most amazing pictures!
    Return to Zurich.
    Overnight in Zurich.

    Day 3 — Zurich - Bern - Gruyeres - Montreux

    Breakfast at the hotel. After being greeted by your driver at the lobby, head to explore Bern with a 2hrs walking tour with a local guide. After time for a lunch break in Bern you will head to Gruyeres, a medieval town and the real homeland of Swiss cheese.
    Here you will have a Gruyeres cheese tasting in the local cheese factory and have the opportunity to sample Swiss fondue.
    Transfer to Montreux.

    Day 4 — Montreux - Lavaux - Lausanne - Geneva - Montreux

    Breakfast at the hotel. Start by discovering the famous Lavaux region, where a local winemaker will organise a wine tasting so you will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the wine as well as the types. You also get to try several of them.
    Afterwards, you will be driven to Lausanne to have lunch in a local restaurant.
    After lunch, your driver will take you to Geneva, where a local guide will take you on a city walking tour. The tour will end in the international district, well known for it's impressive UN European headquarters.

    Day 5 — Montreux - Interlaken

    After Breakfast at the hotel take the scenic GoldenPass Express from Montreux to Interlaken. Your driver will meet you at the Station in Interlaken and will take you to the hotel to drop off your luggage. The afternoon is at leisure and you can decide if you would like to stroll through the alpine town and enjoy the local restaurants or if you would like to do an excursion. Suggested are Harder Kulm and Heimwehfluh.

    Day 6 — Interlaken - Grindelwald - Jungfraujoch - Lauterbrunnen - Interlaken

    Breakfast at the hotel. After a 30min drive you will arrive in Grindelwald, a charming Swiss town at the foot of the Eiger and Wetterhorn mountains. Stroll through this beautiful village and enjoy the fresh alpine air and laid-back atmosphere.
    Afterwards take the Eiger Express gondola from Grindelwald up to Eigergletcher station and then onwards to the Jungfraujoch.
    Time at leisure on Jungfraujoch.
    On the way back down you will pass by the car-free village of Wengen all the way down to Lauterbrunnen. You get to visit Lauterbrunnen, also called the valley of Waterfalls. It's home to 72 waterfalls, each as beautiful as the next.
    After this mountain excursion, enjoy your ride back to Interlaken.
    Overnight in Interlaken.

    Day 7 — Interlaken - Lucerne - Zurich

    Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your driver-guide in the lobby and travel to Lucerne via the scenic mountain pass called Brünig Pass.
    At the top of the pass you will get to enjoy views over Lake Lungern and the surrounding Alps.
    Reaching Lucerne city, a local guide will be waiting for you and take you on a guided walking city tour.
    After the city tour your driver will take you to Zurich.

    Day 8 — Zurich - Zurich Airport

    Breakfast at the hotel.
    At agreed time, the driver will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to Zurich Airport.

  • Cancellation & Rebooking policy 
    Up on our confirmation being raised : In case of a cancellation the following fees in percentage of the package price apply, unless otherwise specified on our product tariffs or when advised differently by our staff at time of booking. 
    - Up to 32 days before travel: handling fee (CHF 120/booking)
    - 31 - 17 days before travel: 30% of overall package cost, min. CHF120/booking 
    - 16 - 10 days before travel: 60% of overall package cost, min. CHF120/booking 
    - 09 - 0 days days before travel or no show: 100% of overall package cost
    - After our confirmation has been raised, we will charge an amendment fee of CHF 60/booking, file plus any charges that may be made by our own suppliers. This particularly will apply where non-refundable rates have been booked.
    - If changes only convern name changes, we charge the following fees CHF30/booking file plus any charges that may be made by our own suppliers.
  • In case of changes that require a complete re-book of a holiday package in more than one location, regardless if documents have been issue or not, we will treat this as a cancellation and our below cancellation fees apply plus any charges that may be made by our own suppliers. 
  • The order of the itinerary may be reversed in instances where there is limited availability on the train. You will be informed of any changes in itinerary well in advance of scheduled departure.
  • The hotels for each night will be confirmed after the booking is confirmed and paid in full.
  • All prices are subject to availability. If a partner hotel is not available, we will offer alternative accommodation. Supplements or reductions may apply.
  • Please note that itineraries booked in reverse may incur price modifications due to changing season dates.
