Day-by-day itinerary

    Day 1 — Santiago - Talagante - Santiago

    Reception at the Santiago Airport and transfer to the hotel.
    In the afternoon, departure to Talagante, in the Maipo Valley, for a (SIB) tour to the Undurraga Vineyard. Founded in 1885, this century-old vineyard contains one of the oldest wineries in Chile and a pioneer in the country's viticulture with unique wines from specific origins; a vineyard that is committed to the reforestation of native trees. The route begins in the vineyard park, created by the French landscaper George Henry Dubois, who also designed the Santiago Forest Park, passing through the Aliwen corner where part of the vegetation typical of southern Chile is recreated and you learn about the Mapuche worldview, a people originally from the South, a place where figures of their culture are also exhibited. Then, a tour of the vineyard where the soils are known by means of a pliers, and the different strains grown by the vineyard are identified through a variety garden, showing the vinification process of the different wines and then visiting its centuries-old underground cellars and finishing with the collection "Gente de la Tierra" (People of the Earth) a sample of Mapuche and Pre-Columbian life and art. in honor of our native peoples. The tour ends with a tasting of 3 Reserve wines.

    Day 2 — Santiago - Santa Cruz, Colchagua Valley

    Breakfast at the hotel.
    Morning departure towards Santa Cruz located in the Colchagua Valley, south of Santiago. Our first stop will be at the MontGras vineyard (or similar), a sustainable vineyard where we will take a SIB tour to learn about the vineyards and winemaking processes, ending with a wine tasting. Continuation to the Viu Manent vineyard, a vineyard respectful of the environment, history and local traditions, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch with local ingredients, prepared on the grill and in a clay oven (or in a local restaurant). In the afternoon, we will take the tour (SIB) offered by this winery with  family tradition and a colonial architecture, where we will have the opportunity to ride in a typical carriage and admire the typical Chilean landscape, visit its wineries, learn about the production process and taste their wines. The tour ends with a visit to the Colchagua Museum, belonging to the Cardoen Foundation, the largest and most varied private museum in South America, where yesterday is present in a journey through the history of our planet and its evolution on the American continent, from the beginning of life 600 million years ago, the man with the American mega fauna, the development of pre-Hispanic cultures, the arrival of the European and the subsequent independence of Chile, ending with the modernity of the 20th century.     Day 3 — Santa Cruz, Colchagua Valley - Santiago

    Breakfast at the hotel.
    Departure to visit the Santa Cruz Vineyard (or similar), where we will take the tour (SIB) around the garden of variety, the grape harvest patio and its winery and the wine cellar, including a wine tasting.
    Then, we will board a cable car with a beautiful panoramic view of the vineyards, which will take us to the top of Chamán Hill, where we will visit a replica of the indigenous villages of the Aymara culture (Northern Chile), Mapuche (Southern Chile) and Rapa-Nui (Pacific Ocean).
    After lunch (in the vineyard or at a local restaurant), transfer back to your hotel in Santiago.

- In Santiago: 5 days prior arrival
- In Santa Cruz: 10 days prior arrival
* Land services: 9 days prior arrival.
* For special dates, you will be informed at the time of confirmation.
* You must be informed before the deadline indicated above (working days) in order to avoid the late cancellation fee.

Special notes
  • During Christmas and New Year (Dec 25 and Jan 01), land services have a 50% surcharge.
  • In Santiago, during high season (fairs and congresses), especially in the months of March, April, October and November, hotel rates are subject to confirmation.
  • Rates are subject to confirmation during long weekends (Easter, National Holidays, Christmas and New Year's Eve or others).
  • Visits to the indicated or similar vineyards, subject to confirmation according to the day and time of the visit.
  • The wineries are closed on Jan 01, May 01 and Dec 25.
  • Itinerary could be changed according to flight schedules, climate conditions, or in order to provide a better service.
  • Museums are closed on Mondays.
