Welcome to China!

Day 2 — Beijing
Start your discovery of Beijing at Tiananmen Square, a pivotal political landmark in modern China. Follow this with a visit to the awe-inspiring Forbidden City, a 600-year-old imperial citadel of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, brimming with architectural wonders and captivating stories of the royal families. After an authentic Chinese lunch, stroll through old Beijing's Hutongs and enjoy a nostalgic rickshaw ride.

Day 3 — Beijing
Begin your day at the Temple of Heaven, where you'll admire its graceful architecture and observe locals engaging in morning exercises such as Tai Chi, sword dancing, and calligraphy.
Afterward, embark on a two-hour drive to the awe-inspiring Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. With a cable car up and down, you will have more time and energy to hike along the ancient rampart to take in its commanding surroundings.

Day 4 — Beijing - Xi'an
Spend the morning exploring the Summer Palace. If weather permitting, enjoy a leisurely boatin on the Kunming Lake within the vast imperical garden.
After lunch, hop on a high-speed train bound for Xi'an. Anticipate arrival in about five hours.
Once you reach your destination, be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Day 5 — Xi'an
Today, encounter the legendary Terracotta Army, a captivating display of warriors and horses as well as the Bronze Chariots that have retained their vividness despite being buried for over 2,200 years.
In the afternoon, return to the city to explore the lively Muslim Street, a live testament of the ancient Silk Road.

Day 6 — Xi'an - Shanghai
Visit and communicate with the local family, learning to make dumplings, hand-pulled noodles, or other homely dishes. If time permits, go to a market with the host to select the necessary ingredients before the cooking. Enjoy your labor as lunch and then transfer to the airport for your journey to Shanghai.

Day 7 — Shanghai
Explore the timeless landmarks of Shanghai, commencing at the Bund, where an array of colonial architectural styles has adorned the skyline since the 1920s. Proceed to the enchanting Yu Garden, followed by a leisurely walk through the vibrant bazaar and a visit to a silk workshop. Continue your adventure in the Former French Concession, with a walk from Fuxing Park to Bugaoli Stone Gate. Along the way, encounter locals enjoying their leisure time, stop at a food market and try some popular dim sum. Then, move on to the Pudong district and ascending the Shanghai Tower for a panoramic view of this dazzling metropolis.

Day 8 — Departure
