    Day 1 — Home - Sapporo

    Depart for Hokkaido, Japan.

    Day 2 — Arrive in New Chitose (CTS) - Noboribetsu

    Upon arrival at Sapporo (New Chitose) Airport, transfer to the hotel in Noboribetsu with our receptionist's assistance and enjoy delicious local cuisine in the hotel. (The dinner in the hotel ends at 8:00pm. If your flight arrives late and you cannot make it in time for dinner, it will be regarded as a voluntary renouncement with no refund.) Guests can check in to the hotel after 3:00pm.

    Day 3 — Noboribetsu - Sapporo

    After breakfast, transfer to Noboribetsu Hell Valley, a crater and a main source of Noboribetsu's hot spring waters. Enjoy and experience the River Oyunuma Natural Footbath (*Please bring your own towels). Then, visit Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura, a history-themed park that transports visitors back to the Edo period. Learn how ninjas and samurais lived too as you pass by authentic houses. Then, overlooking the ocean at Cape Chikyu, one of Hokkaido's most beautiful landscapes. Afterwards, visit the Lake Toya with spectacular scenery. Later on, transfer to Sapporo.

    Day 4 — Sapporo - Otaru - Sapporo

    This morning, transfer to Otaru. The romantic Otaru Canal is sitting in the city. The Otaru Music Box Museum is a popular sightseeing attraction and the largest music box museum in Otaru. Afterwards, go back to Sapporo, visit Sapporo Beer Museum. This is Japan's only museum dedicated to beer, which explores the long history of Sapporo Beer. Visit the Shiroi Koibito Park. It is a sweets theme park. Late May~Early Jun: change to Tenjin Wisteria, view the "Tenjin wisteria," Hokkaido's oldest one with a history of over 200 years. Oct: change to Mt. Moiwa Ropeway to admire the beautiful red maples at the top of the mountain. Enjoy yourself in the wonferful Tanuki Koji Street. Dinner is on your own arragement.

    Day 5 — Sapporo - Sounkyo

    After breakfast, visit the Former Hokkaido Government Office which is Hokkaido's best-known symbol and the red star on its exterior wall is the symbol of the Hokkaido Development Commission. Mid & Late May: change to Takikawa Canola Flower, a sea of yellow can be seen scattered across fields for as far as the eye can see. Late Jul~Late Aug: change to Hokuryu Sunflower Village, see millions of delightful sunflowers. Stroll around the Blue Pond to explore the breathtaking scenery of the lake. Visit the Ningle Terrace, a small village of log-houses sits spirited away in the forests of Furano. Take the Daisetsuzan Asahidake Ropeway to enjoy the magnificent scenery. Jul~Aug: change to Farm Tomita, the Hokkaido's largest farm with more than 150 kinds of flowers. Jul-Oct: change to the colorful Shikisai no Oka.

    Day 6 — Sounkyo - Shiretoko

    After breakfast, visit the Sounkyo Valley, watch the Ginga Falls, Ryusei-no-taki Falls in Sounkyo gorges. Transfer to Abashiri and visit the Okhotsk Ryu-hyo Museum, where you can experience an icy world and learn about the icy sea creature - "Clione limacina". Mid & Late May: change to Higashimokoto Shibazakura Park to view the flower. Jun~Aug: change to Koshimizu Primeval Flower Garden to enjoy the wonderful scenery and sea of flowers. Aug~Sep: change to Taiyo-no-Oka Engaru Park to see the cosmos flowers. Mid & Late Sep: change to Ubaranai Glasswort Community, admire the beautiful red sea of grass. Late Sep~Early Oct: Omagari Lakeside Park, where you can see sunflowers in full bloom. Next, overlook the Okhotsk Sea at Notoro Cape. Later on, transfer to Shiretoko, visit the spectacular Oshinkoshin Waterfall. The waterfall is also nicknamed "Sobi no Taki", meaning twin beauties waterfall, as the stream is split into two visible falls.

    Day 7 — Shiretoko - Akanko

    After breakfast, visit Shiretoko National Park, where you can see the Kamuiwakka Hot Falls, a special warm mountain stream, and walk along the Shiretoko Goko Lakes while enjoying the beautiful scenery. Then, transfer to the crystal-clear Lake Kussharo. Later, continue your trip and visit Atosanupuri Mountain, an active volcano that sporadically erupts into clouds of sulfur. You can admire beautiful alpine plants and trees that can normally only be seen on steep mountain paths. Afterwards, transfer to a hot spring hotel near Lake Akan and enjoy a wonderful dinner.

    Day 8 — Akanko - Tokachi-gawa

    After breakfast, enjoy a cruise on Lake Akan. Visit the hometown of Chlorella and enjoy the beautiful scenery in every season. Then go to Ainu Kotan, one of the largest kotan villages in Hokkaido. Next, the wide-open feeling you get from the vastness of the Naitai Highland Farm is typical of Hokkaido's landscapes, unique in all of Japan. Have a photo stop at the pink station house of Kofuku Station with the walls becoming covered in the cards of visitors hoping for good luck. Afterwards, visit Ikeda Wine Castle, famous for its unique European-style medieval castle appearance and history of revitalizing the local economy. It is the first winery in Japan to be operated by a local government. This evening, taste exquisite Japanese cuisine made from Hokkaido beef and seasonal vegetables grown from farms.

    Day 9 — Tokachi-gawa - Leave Sapporo*CTS

    Transfer to airport for your flight back home.
    * We arrange transfer service according to the group members' flight time, it takes about 2.5h from hotel to airport, flights depart after 1:00pm are advised.

- From 23 - 32 days prior to departure, 80% of total price.

  • This itinerary requires a minimum of two persons to book.
  • Generally, vaccination is not required unless traveling from or through infected areas. Emergency care is available in many places, although not as easily accessible as at home. However, it is advisable to carry common medications or prescription drugs with you.
  • Our company is responsible for providing the services and accommodations described in this manual to passengers. However, in cases of delays or other circumstances beyond our control where such services cannot be provided or changes to the itinerary are necessary, we will strive to provide equivalent services, accommodations, and itineraries, but refunds will not be issued.

Therefore, we are not responsible for the behavior of passengers before, during, or after the trip. If a passenger is required to leave the tour, any remaining tour fees will not be refunded.
  • During the actual trip, guides or drivers have the authority to adjust the order of visits, duration of stays, or meeting times at attractions according to weather, traffic conditions, etc., to ensure the smooth progress of the itinerary.
  • BAGGAGE
    Baggage allowance in Asia and China are restricted to 20kg (44lbs.), and one carry on baggage with dimensions not exceeding 22" X 14" X 9" per person. On transpacific flights, economy class baggage allowance of up to 2 suitcases with each dimensions not exceeding 29" X 20" X 10". However, porterage for only one piece of baggage id included.
Pricing notes (children, single supplement)
* Price for Single Occupancy applies when one person stays in one standard hotel room.
* Price for Double Occupancy applies when two people stay in one standard hotel room respectively.
* The child price defaults to the price for children under 12 years old who do not occupy a bed. If they occupy a bed,  they enjoy the same price as adults.
* All prices are based on US Dollar.
