Day 1 — Athens
Welcome to Athens!
We'll transfer you to the hotel and you'll have some free time. In the afternoon, you'll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.

Day 2 — Athens
Athens, city tour and evening transfer.
We´ll embark on a city tour guided by a local expert, covering prominent sites such as the Presidential Mansion, the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were held, the National Library, and the bustling squares of the city center. We´ll also explore the newer neighborhoods that developed after the 2004 Olympic Games. The tour will conclude at the Acropolis (admission not included).
In the evening, we´ll provide a transfer to the historical neighborhood of Plaka, renowned for its charming Greek tavernas and vibrant atmosphere where you can experience the rich folklore of this country.Meals: B: Included, L: Excluded, D: ExcludedStay: Novotel Athenes, President - 3
Day 3 — Athens - Tripoli - Olympia - Patras
Total distance covered: 411 km.
Scenery: Beautiful sea views. Fantastic landscapes of the Meteora.
08:00 a.m. - Departure from Athens. We'll travel to the Peloponnese region.
09:15 a.m. - Stop at the Corinth Canal, an impressive engineering marvel from the end of the nineteenth century that links the Isthmus of Corinth with the Aegean Sea, facilitating maritime transport.
09:30 a.m. - Departure from the Corinth Canal. Once on the Peloponnese Peninsula, we'll continue travelling through the mountains.
10:45 a.m. - Tripoli. We'll stop in the vibrant capital of the Arcadia region, with time for a stroll around Aeros Square with its cafes and restaurants.
11:45 a.m. - Departure from Tripoli.
01:45 p.m. - Olympia. We'll have time for lunch and then we'll visit the archaeological site (admission and guided tour included), the place where the first Olympic Games were held in 776 B.C., with athletes from all over Greece and its colonies participating. Highlights include the Temple of Zeus, the Stadium, the Gymnasium, and the Arena. After the visit, you'll have free time. If you wish, you can visit the museum (not included).
04:45 p.m. - Departure from Olympia. We'll enjoy mountain landscapes and pass through some picturesque villages on our route.
06:45 p.m. - Patras. We'll arrive in the third-largest city in Greece, a lively port city with a remarkable medieval fortress. Its cathedral is the largest church in Greece, and next to it is the small church of St. Andrew, a place of pilgrimage. Day 4 — Patras - Igoumenitsa - Brindisi
Total distance covered: 276 km.
Scenery: We'll journey through the heart of Central Greece before taking a ferry across the Ionian Sea.
08:00 a.m. - Departure from Patras. After breakfast, we'll depart Patras via the Antirrio River bridge, a spectacular suspension bridge connecting the Peloponnese with the Greek mainland. We'll travel through the regions of Central Greece and Epirus.
11:45 a.m. - Igoumenitsa. We'll have time for a stroll in this port town.
01:30 p.m. – Transfer to the port to board the ferry (departure scheduled for 02:00 p.m.) that will take us across the Ionian Sea to Italy. Enjoy the scenery from the deck.
09:00 p.m. (local time, one hour behind Greece) – Brindisi – Arrival, transfer to the hotel, and accommodation.
Notes:
- Please bring warm clothing to enjoy the deck during the ferry crossing.
- Don't forget your passport; you'll need it when crossing the border.
- Keep in mind that Italy is one hour behind Greece. For example, when it's 12:00 p.m. in Greece, it's 11:00 a.m. in Italy.

Day 5 — Brindisi - Alberobello - Matera - Naples
Total distance covered: 401 km.
Scenery: Today, we'll explore two spectacular and authentic towns.
Note: Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, especially for Matera.
09:00 a.m. – Departure from Brindisi.
10:15 a.m. - Alberobello. Enjoy time to explore this charming town, famous for its unique conical-shaped houses known as trulli. These distinctive structures, with their stone-stacked roofs, are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a remarkable example of Italian rural architecture.
11:15 a.m. – Departure from Alberobello. We'll head into the Basilicata region.
01:00 p.m. - Matera. Arrival in this breathtaking city, renowned for its ancient historic center and the Sassi di Matera, a network of ancient dwellings and structures carved into the rock, dating back thousands of years. Matera is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest continuously inhabited human settlements in the world. You'll have time to explore and enjoy an included lunch.
03:30 p.m. – Departure from Matera. We'll continue through Basilicata and Campania, taking in the beautiful mountain landscapes.
07:00 p.m. - Naples. Arrival in the evening. We recommend taking a stroll through this impressive city.Meals: B: Included, L: Included, D: ExcludedStay: Palazzo Esedra - 6
Day 6 — Naples - Capri - Sorrento - Salerno
Total distance covered: 65 km, plus boat trip.
Scenery: Stunning landscapes in the Bay of Naples and Sorrento.
Notes: Part of this trip will be by boat, so we recommend bringing warm clothes. Don't forget your camera in case you want to photograph the breathtaking views. Due to weather conditions, ships connecting Naples with Capri or Capri with Sorrento may not operate. In such cases, the route will be modified to arrive at Sorrento by highway and visit Amalfi instead of Capri.
09:30 a.m. - Departure from Naples by ferry. The boat trip will last approximately one hour, offering picturesque views.
10:40 a.m. – Arrival at the island of Capri. You´ll have free time to stroll and enjoy lunch on this jewel of the Tyrrhenian Sea, where nature, breathtaking views, glamour, and history come together in perfect harmony. We recommend taking the funicular up to the center of Capri to wander through the village's elegant streets, lined with boutiques and charming terraces.
03:15 p.m. - We'll take a ferry (schedules may vary) to Sorrento, enjoying beautiful scenery along the way.
04:00 p.m. - Sorrento. We'll explore this charming and lively town perched on a cliff, with its port located in the lower area.
06:00 p.m. - Departure from Sorrento.
07:45 p.m. - Salerno. Arrival and accommodation. Would you like to take a stroll through this vibrant southern Italian city?

Day 7 — Salerno - Paola - Messina - Taormina
Total distance covered by road: 475 km.
Scenery: Mountains, sea, and picturesque villages along the route.
Note: We recommend bringing warm clothes to enjoy the ferry crossing between the Italian Peninsula and Sicily.
07:30 a.m. - Departure from Salerno. We'll travel south through Italy, enjoying views of mountains and charming villages. Our route will take us along the picturesque coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
11:30 a.m. - Sanctuary of San Francesco di Paola. There will be time to explore this beautiful sanctuary set in stunning surroundings. Don't miss the chance to visit the cave! Afterward, there will be free time for a stroll and lunch in the charming old town of Paola.
02:00 p.m. - Departure from Paola. We'll continue to Villa San Giovanni, arriving around 4:30 p.m., where we'll board a ship for a short 20-minute crossing to the island of Sicily.
05:30 p.m. - Messina. You'll have time to explore the city center and enjoy your first experience on the island.
06:30 p.m. - Departure from Messina.
07:30 p.m. - Taormina. Arrival at our hotel. Dinner will be included.

Day 8 — Taormina
Taromina – free day. This enchanting and small coastal city, nestled at the foot of Mount Etna is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places in the Mediterranean. Winston Churchill once described it as the most beautiful place on earth. Take time to stroll through the vibrant historic quarter, visit the Greek theatre with its breathtaking views, or relax on the beaches. Day 9 — Taormina - Catania - Siracusa - Agrigento
Total distance covered: 330 km
Scenery: Fertile fields covered with vineyards and citrus groves, as well as the Ionian coast, where history and sea intertwine in unforgettable scenery.
08:30 a.m. – Taormina – Departure. We descend toward the plain of Catania, at the foot of Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe.
09:30 a.m. – Catania – Arrival and free time to stroll through this city at the foot of Mount Etna, which blends history, art, and Mediterranean life. Its Baroque center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, impresses with squares such as the emblematic Piazza del Duomo, with the Elephant Fountain as the city's symbol, and beautiful palaces built in volcanic stone, along with the bustling fish market, one of the most picturesque in Sicily.
11:30 a.m. – Catania – Departure. We continue south along the coast.
12:45 p.m. – Syracuse – Arrival. An ancient jewel of Magna Graecia on the Ionian Sea, renowned for its historical and cultural heritage. On its island of Ortigia, the historic core connected by bridges, you'll find highlights such as the cathedral, built over a Greek temple, and the Maniace Castle, along with lively narrow streets, seaside terraces, and markets. Free time to stroll and have lunch.
4:00 p.m. – Syracuse – Departure. We cross the island's interior, passing through hills and farmland.

Day 10 — Agrigento - Marsala - Erice - Palermo
Total distance covered: 300 km.
Today we'll explore archaeological sites that highlight the influence of ancient Greece in Sicily. Accompanied by a local guide, we'll visit the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, an impressive archaeological site renowned for its well-preserved Greek temples (admission included).
11:00 a.m. - Departure from Agrigento.
01:30 p.m. - Marsala. Arrival in this historic city known for its vibrant atmosphere and famous wine. We'll have time for lunch.
03:00 p.m. - Departure from Marsala. We'll continue our journey around the scenic Marsala salt pans.
04:15 p.m. - Erice. This picturesque Phoenician town, perched atop a hill and surrounded by ancient walls, invites us to take a leisurely stroll.
05:15 p.m. - Departure from Erice.

Day 11 — Palermo - Monreale - Night crossing
Total distance covered: 40 km.
Note: Remember to prepare a small bag for the night crossing; bulky luggage will remain in the coach for the night.
09:00 a.m. - After breakfast, we'll begin our guided tour of Palermo. We'll transfer to the charming village of Monreale, now located on the outskirts of the city. Here, we'll visit the stunning Arab-Norman cathedral, a World Heritage Site renowned for its magnificent golden mosaics (tickets included). Back in Palermo, we'll explore the cathedral (tickets included), famous for its eclectic architectural styles and royal tombs. We'll also visit the Norman Palace (former Royal Palace), its fountains, markets, and gardens. Our panoramic tour will conclude at the Teatro Massimo Square, after which you'll have free time for lunch and a leisurely stroll.
06:00 p.m. - We'll transfer you to the port to board a modern night ferry, which will depart at 08:00 p.m. Our night cruise across the Mediterranean will include accommodation in double cabins with private bathrooms. Please note that breakfast is not included on the ferry. The ferry will be equipped with all modern comforts, including restaurants, bars, a banquet hall, and spacious lounges.
Note: Occasionally, due to weather conditions or changes in ferry schedules, we may need to use a different ferry than originally planned. Day 12 — Naples - Pompeii - Rome
Total distance covered: 282 km.
Note: We recommend wearing comfortable shoes to walk around Pompeii.
We'll arrive at the Port of Naples at 7:30 in the morning. After disembarking, we'll depart for Pompeii, the ancient Roman city buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius two thousand years ago. Admission and a guided tour are included to explore the history of this remarkable site.
11:30 a.m. - Departure from Pompeii.
12:00 p.m. – Naples – one of the most fascinating cities in Italy and among the oldest populated places in Europe. The historic center Naples is one of the largest in Europe and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There will be time for a stroll and lunch.
04:00 p.m. - Departure from Naples.
07:00 p.m. – Rome.
Note: Depending on the arrival time in Naples (which may vary due to maritime conditions and shipping line) and the time of year, the visit to Pompeii may take place either before or after your free time in Naples.
