Day-by-day itinerary

  1. 1

    Day 1 — Home - Calgary

    Welcome to Calgary, also known as "Cowtown". Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can take one of the following options tours (Must be before 13:00PM pick up or arrive hotel by 13:30PM):
    ● Calgary City Tour (3 hours): A guided tour takes you to explore the city; from the historic site to the newest modern building. (Includes guide service, transportation, and admission)
      
    ● CrossIron Mill Outlet Shopping Tour (4 hours): Discover the biggest one-level shopping centre in Alberta.​​​​​​​
      
    The Calgary Zoo with Public Transportation Ticket/Admission: The Calgary Zoo takes you to see almost 900 animals from around the world, including popular gorilla, hippos, grizzly bear, penguins, endangered red pandas and amur tigers, and etc for you to explore.

    Day 2 — Banff - Gondola - Johnston canyon icewalk - Bow falls -Surprise corner - Banff town

    Start your journey to Famous Canadian Rockies from Calgary and you will visit the Banff National Park, Canada's first national park.

    Banff National Park: Canada first National Park, one of the world's premier destination spots.
      

    Johnston CanyonKnown for its walking trail throughout the year. We will do ice-walking in the canyon and watch the frozen falls. (stop for about 60 minutes) * Free Crampon are provided.
    Banff Sulphur Mt Gondola (Optional): Enjoy a 360' view of Banff. (stop for about 90 minutes)
    Bow Falls: The location of the film "The river of no return" in 1960's. (stop for about 15 minutes)
      

    Surprise Corner: Good View for The Castle In the Rockies. (stop for about 15 minutes)
    ● Hoodoos: Hoodoos are composed sedimentary rock covered by harder rock that is harder to erode. Once softer sediment erodes rock needle, only tower like natural obstacles are left. (stop for about 15 minutes)
    Banff Town: The Biggest town of National town, many shops and restaurants awaiting for discovery. (stop for about 90 minutes)

    Day 3 — Lake Louise - Snowshoeing - YOHO - Emerald Lake - Natural Bridge

    Today you will visit the Lake Louise and Yoho National Park.

    Lake Louise+Snowshoeing: This beautiful lake is named after Princess Louise Caroline Alberta. Famous photo-taking location. In summer, you can go boating on the lake or walk on the lakeside and enjoy a leisurely lunch. In winter, you can walk on the lake with snowshoes (provided) and experience the charming snow scenery (Stop for about 2 hours)

    * Free Snowshoeing experience will provide (about 20 minutes) / weather dependent
      
    Yoho National Park: Native people call "it is wonderful".
    Spiral Tunnel: The construction and extra track effectively doubled the length of the climb and reduced the gradient to 2.2%. (Pass through)
    Emerald Lake: It's the largest lake of the Yoho's. The color of the water is cause by powdered limestone. (approx. 30 mins)
      
    Natural Bridge: Sculpted by the erosive forces of rushing water over what had once been a waterfall, the Natural Bridge is a powerful reminder of how much influence water has in shaping the landscape. (stop for about 15 minutes)

    Day 4 — Lake Louise Ski Resort - Minnewanka Lake Or Abraham Lake - Banff Upper Hot Springs or Heli Tours - Calgary

    Today you can enjoy the fun outdoor activities:

    Lake Louise Ski Resort: One of the largest ski area in Canada over 100 ski run to fit all level needs. (Nov-Dec & Apr stop for about 3 hours // Jan-Mar stop for about 2 hours)
    * If snow activity is not available, this will be replaced by Icefield Parkway (Bow Lake/Peyto Lake).
    * Will be replaced by leisure time at Lake Louise if not joining below optional activities:
    Tubing (Optional): All ages, all levels, a fun sport for everyone. 
    Lake Louise Sightseeing Gondola (Optional): Take gondola to top of the mountain to enjoy wonderful view. 
      

    ● Lake Minnewanka: A glacial lake located in the eastern area of Banff National Park, is the longest lake in the mountain parks of Canadian Rockies. (stop for about 20 minutes)
    ● Banff Upper Hot Springs (Seasonal and weather depends): Only outdoor hot Springs in Banff National Park. (stop for about 60 minutes)
    * Please bring the bathing suite for Banff Upper Springs if you plan to participate.
    * If Not Open, will go Cave & Basin Instead.
      

    ☼ Seasonal Special:
    For JAN-MAR departure, we will visit the "Bubble Lake (Abraham Lake)" instead of Minnewanka Lake & Banff Hot Springs.
    Abraham Lake: An artificial lake on North Saskatchewan River in western Alberta, is home to rare phenomenon where bubbles get frozen right underneath its surface.
    Heli Tours (Optional): Enjoy the spectacular view of Rocky Mountain from Helicopter. (flying time about 20 minutes)

• Change of departure date will be considered as a cancellation.
• Decrease in number of guests, change the optional admissions & group meal purchase, as well as amending extended hotel stay will be considered as cancellation.
• All optional tours are non-refundable. Refund will be done only due to weather and force majeure event happens and the optional tours could not be continued.
• Additional fees, including but not limited to associated credit card or wire transfer service charges, will be applied to any cancellation or amendment request.

Special notes
  • Each person is allowed to check in and carry on only one piece of baggage, any additional baggage will incur an extra fee of CAD 50 per piece.
  • Aside from admission fees, optional tour fees and service fees mentioned above, other fees and taxes should be paid in CAD currency by. If you choose to pay in USD currency, you should pay the price difference caused by the currency exchange rate.
  • Additional fees, including but not limited to associated credit card or wire transfer service charges, will be applied to any cancellation or amendment request. Cancellation policy will be applied to below modifications: reducing the number of travelers, and changing; optional admissions & group meal purchase, as well as amending extended hotel stay.
  • Hotel arrangement is subject to change due to different departure date.
  • Please be ready at meeting location 5-10 minutes prior to the pick-up time as the tour will start on time. If you miss the bus, please meet us at the next pick-up location. Should there be any concerns, please contact us.

  • One piece of checked luggage & one piece of carryon luggage, with applicable size restrictions, are allowed for each person.
  • Should there be any itinerary details/price discrepancies from our website, the company's invoice will be considered as the final confirmation.
  • We highly recommend to check the weather forecast before your arrival because the temperature in the Rocky Mountains can drop dramatically at night.
  • Suggest to bring the warm coat and anti-slippery shoes.
  • Suggest to bring sunscreen and sun protection products due to high UV index in Canada. 
  • Suggest to bring toiletries since North America Hotels usually do not provide such amenities.

* Price for Single Occupancy applies when one person stays in one standard hotel room.
* Price for Double/Triple/Quadruple Occupancy applies when two/three/four people stay in one standard hotel room.
* Triple/Quadruple room does not include a third/fourth bed since all room types are based on the double occupancy. No extra bed for 3rd & 4th person.
* Children prices applies when a 0-15 year-old child stays in one standard room as a third or fourth person.
* Maximum room capacity: 4 people including adult and child/infant.
