Day-by-day itinerary

1. 1

   Day 1 — Siem Reap

   Your Indochina adventure begins with your arrival in Siem Reap. Your private driver will meet you at the airport, holding a signboard with your name. He will escort you to your accommodation right in the heart of the city. You can easily explore the city at your own pace or relax at the hotel after the flight.

2. 2

   Day 2 — Siem Reap

   Breakfast at the hotel - Heading out of town we make our way by traveling on a newly paved road to the intricately carved and well preserved temple of Banteay Srei. Along the way we make stopover at the Preah Dark village and we follow these with a visit the Banteay Samre Temple adorned with impressive relief's depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends. Afternoon, Visit Angkor Wat, the largest temples in world and covers an area of 200 hectares and surrounded by moat and an exterior wall measuring 1300 meters x 1500 meters.

   Day 3 — Siem Reap

   Breakfast at hotel. Visit Angkor Thom, the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, built from the late 12th century to the early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII and consists of 54 towers, the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King, then Visit Preah Khan temple, built by King Jayavarman VII dedicated to his father. It is a huge, highly exportable monastic complex, and served as a Buddhist monastery and school, engaging over 1000 monks. Afternoon, visit visit the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature and followed by sunset on top of Phnom Bakeng.

4. 4

   Day 4 — Flight From Siem Reap To Hanoi

   Relish the remaining moment in Siem Reap before your private driver escorts you to the airport to take the flight to Hanoi, Vietnam. When you arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation in Hanoi city center. The rest of the time is free at leisure.
   Overnight in Hanoi.
   Please note in particular days the flight might be with a stopover in Bangkok.

5. 5

   Day 5 — Hanoi - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc

   7:30 - 08:30: Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. We take you to Ninh Binh province which is far from Hanoi city about 120 km.
   9:30 : Have a short break for 20 minutes to relax.
   10:30: The first destination in this trip is visit Hoa Lu ancient capital. This is the first capital of Vietnam. Come to visit Hoa Lu, you will learn about why the capital was moved to Hanoi nowadays. You are impressed on an outstanding architecture when entering temples of King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of ancient Vietnam, built in the 17 century. Try to feel ancient atmospheres in Hoa Lu ancient capital.
   11:45: Have buffet lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods goat meat, fried rice… Vegetarian food is always available in the buffet lunch.
   13:00: Visit Tam Coc by 1,5 hour bamboo boat. During the boat trip, you will be surprised by the charming beauty here with paddy field, river, water, cloud, sky and stuning cave system. All make  a masterpiece which Vietnamese people called "Halong Bay on land".
   14:30: Continue the tour with 45 minutes for cycling around the village to discover the life of local people.
   15:30 - 16:00: Come back to our shuttle bus to return to Hanoi.
   18:30: End your memorable day with Hoa Lu - Tam Coc Day Trip in Ninh Binh. Get dropped off at Hotel in Hanoi.

   Day 6 — Cruising At The Natural Wonder Of The World Halong Bay

   Halong Bay is a natural wonder of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site, and once you arrive there, you will understand why. Get ready to be amazed by the world's most breathtaking views, and have a relaxing time on the cruise, enjoying the exciting activities we have prepared for you.
   After breakfast, check out of the hotel and leave Hanoi for Halong Bay.
   The cruise team will meet you at the hotel lobby between 8:00-9:00 am (we will confirm the exact time the day before the tour).
   Arrive at the jetty around noon and take a boat to the cruise. After a welcome onboard and check-in, lunch will be served while the cruise is making its way through the hundreds of islets.
   In the afternoon, enjoy some activities such as swimming and kayaking or visiting caves (depending on each boat’s itinerary), or just spend relaxing time on board.
   Towards the end of the day, the boat sets anchor for the night in a beautiful place, so don't miss the sunset before having dinner.
   Overnight on board.
   Note: In case of bad weather, the itinerary might be changed or canceled if the boats will be not allowed to leave the port. Your travel consultant will plan other arrangements for you in this case.

7. 7

   Day 7 — Halong Bay - Hanoi

   The sun rises on Halong in the morning, and breakfast is served while the vessel cruises slowly back toward the port. Enjoy an early lunch before arriving at the port and disembarking. You will be transferred back to Hanoi. The rest of the day is free to explore the city on your own.

8. 8

   Day 8 — Hanoi Fly to Luang Prabang

   Have breakfast at the hotel, have a free leisure time until there will be a private cab transfer you to the airport, and ready for the next flight to Luang Prabang. 
   Note that flights from Ho Chi Minh to Luang Prabang are only accessible on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. Please book your flight return flight to your home country based on this information.

9. 9

   Day 9 — Luang Prabang - Pak Ou caves - Kuang Si Waterfalls

   Breakfast at hotel. This morning transfer to the pier where you board a traditional long trail boat, for a relaxing cruise upstream on the mighty Mekong River. Enjoy stunning mountain scenery and witness the simple rural lifestyles. You will reach Pak Ou caves at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Ou Rivers. In these 2 caves Tham Ting and Tham Phoum are displayed hundreds of sacred centuries-old Buddha images which are the object of pilgrimages during the Lao New Year festivities around mid-April. Cruise back in town.
   In the afternoon, travelling outskirt of Luang Prabang, driving through green rice paddies and farms. Stop for visit few villages of H’mong and Lao Loum people, your guide can introduce you to local people and its great opportunity for you to involving with their daily activities such as wooden cotton spinning, weaving, rice harvesting and green vegetable farms. On your arrival at the Kuang Si falls, enjoy main waterfalls with spectacular views and surrounding of orchids inside the park and falls cascade over many calcified tiers and down several hundred feet into a series of cool, turquoise pools where you can cool off with a swim. End of your day, transfer back to Luang Prabang.

    Day 10 — Luang Prabang - City tour

    This morning, visit Wat Xieng Thong further emphasizes the uniqueness of Luang Prabang, its several roofs sweeping low to the ground. See also the impressive "tree of life" mosaic here. The gilt panel on the exterior of the chapel depicts semi-erotic episodes from the Ramayana.
    Then visit the National Museum, explore the city's fascinating array of shimmering temples and French colonial buildings.
    Then explore Wat May built in 1796, the five-tiered roof of the wooden Sim (chapel) epitomizes the graceful Luang Prabang architectural style.
