First, explore Hagia Sophia, once the largest building on Earth, second only to the Egyptian Pyramids and the Great Wall of China. It served as the religious center of the city during the Byzantine period.
Following that, visit Topkapi Palace, which, in addition to being the imperial residence of the Sultan, was the seat of government for the Ottoman Empire. It housed the Ottoman sultans for nearly 400 years.
Proceed to the Hippodrome, built by Roman Emperor Septimus Severus in 203 AD. During the Roman period, the Hippodrome was the civil center of the city, where once 100,000 spectators could gather.
Then, head to the Blue Mosque, built by Ottoman Sultan Ahmet I in 1616. Today, it is one of the most famous landmarks of the old city, with its iconic six minarets and magnificent dome.
Next, visit the Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and most famous markets in the world, with 18 entrances and more than 4,000 shops.
At the end of the tour, you will be driven to Istanbul Airport for your 1 hour 30-minute domestic flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.

First, explore Goreme Museum, which consists of many rock-cut churches from the second half of the 9th century, decorated with beautiful, colorful frescoes.
Next, visit Devrent Valley, famous for its quirky, animal-shaped rocks. It looks like a sculpture zoo created by nature itself.
Following that, head to Pasabagi, also known as Monks Valley. The name "Pasabagi" means "Pacha's Vineyard." This site was once home to the hermitage of the Simeon monks.
Afterward, continue to Avanos, where you will enjoy a typical Turkish lunch and have the chance to experience pottery-making with local experts.
Next, visit Goreme Panorama, which offers one of the best panoramic views of the fairy chimneys.

According to your pick-up time, meet your guide and begin your full-day tour.
First, visit Rose Valley, a truly unique area of Cappadocia with sharp ridges tinted in pink, especially during sunset. The minerals in the sandstone give the valley a distinct pink hue, which becomes more vibrant as the sun sets.
Next, head to Cavusin, a village surrounded by a valley that gradually widens, known as Red Valley. The village's houses are carved into massive rock formations, and it is famous for its rock churches.
Following that, visit Pigeon Valley, named for the countless man-made dovecotes (pigeon houses) carved into the soft volcanic tuff. Pigeon Valley is one of the best spots for walking and exploring the natural beauty of Cappadocia.
Afterward, explore the Underground Cities, once a refuge for 15,000 Christians. These settlements played a significant role in the development of Christianity, providing shelter and places for worship. They were in use until the end of the 7th century AD. Discover the ancient bedrooms, church, meeting halls, and food storage rooms in this eight-story city, connected by 30 km of corridors and passageways.
The tour continues with a visit to Ortahisar, a village famous for its friendly inhabitants, picturesque stone houses, narrow streets, and lovely churches. The town is also known for its castle-like rock formation, which gives it its name.
At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
