Day 2 — Hawaii Volcanoes National Park - Mauna Kea Stargazing Night Time Tour

After hotel pickup, visit Rainbow Falls, Banyan Drive, Liliuokalani Park, Hilo Bayfront Beach Park (Black Sand Beach), Big Island Cookie Factory, and Wailoa State Park / King's Statue. Then drive to Volcanoes National Park to view the crater from the lookout, explore geothermal vents, lava tubes, and walk on ancient volcanic rocks before returning to the hotel to rest.
*The order of attractions may be adjusted for a smooth tour experience.

Rainbow Falls – Located in Wailuku Park along Waiānuenue Avenue, the cascading waterfall often creates a vibrant rainbow in the morning mist.

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park – Visiting the volcanoes is a highlight of the Big Island. Home to two active volcanoes, Kīlauea and Mauna Loa, considered among the world's safest active volcanoes, the flowing lava showcases the immense power of nature. Here, you can witness the raw force of the land up close.
Mauna Kea Stargazing – In the evening, visit the Mauna Kea Visitor Center at about 2,600 m above sea level for stargazing. Free from light pollution, Mauna Kea offers pristine, breathtaking views of a star-filled sky. The experience is romantic and far more impressive than imagined. (Does not include summit access)

Day 3 — Kalapana Black Sand Beach - Akaka Falls - Farmers market

Pickup from Hilo hotel in the morning and drive to the Kalapana 1985 Lava Flow site. Continue along the Big Island's east coast, passing new lava fields and the 2018 volcanic eruption's newly formed Black Sand Beach, where the fresh black sand glimmers with a metallic sheen in the sunlight. Return to Hilo town for lunch (at your own expense).
In the afternoon, drive to the Akaka Falls Rainforest on the north coast, a waterfall accessible by car, and stop at a local farmer's market to buy fresh papayas and other seasonal tropical fruits. The tour concludes with a return to the hotel.
    * The order of attractions may be adjusted to ensure a smooth tour experience.

Kalapana Black Sand Beach – One of the Big Island's most remarkable coastal sights, formed by frequent volcanic activity. When lava from eruptions enters the sea, the outer layer cools and hardens quickly while the interior remains hot, causing it to crack and break into fragments. Over years of erosion by ocean waves, this process has created the island's unique black sand beaches.

Akaka Falls – In Hawaiian, "Akaka" means "to split or burst," reflecting the waterfall's dramatic and powerful nature. Enter Akaka Falls State Park and walk through lush tropical rainforest filled with wild orchids, bamboo, and ferns. The waterfall plunges 442 feet like a giant curtain, with sparkling droplets rhythmically striking the rocks below. Akaka Falls is one of the Big Island's most spectacular waterfalls, attracting visitors from around the world.

Honolulu – Honolulu, the capital city of Hawaii, is a vibrant and romantic destination. In Hawaiian, "Honolulu" means "sheltered bay" or "protected place." The city earned its nickname "檀香山" (Sandalwood Mountain) from early exports of sandalwood to China. Located on the southeastern coast of Oahu, the main urban area is known as the Honolulu District.
