Day-by-day itinerary

    Day 1 — Vancouver to Salmon Arm

    • Depart downtown Vancouver at 8:30am (please arrive by 8:15am)
    • Travel through the Fraser Valley with a stop at the Tulip festival (Spring tour only and weather dependent)
    • Stop in Kamloops for lunch
    • After lunch, enjoy a wine tasting at one of the regions many renowned wineries
    • Stop at Adams River to view the millions of Sockeye Salmon that make their final journey upstream to the Adams River to lay their eggs (Fall tour only)
    • Check in to your comfortable lakefront hotel in Salmon Arm
    • Stroll the trails along the Salmon Arm Wharf, which is a great spot for watching local wildlife
    • Enjoy a group dinner this evening (included) to get to know your fellow travelers

    Day 2 — Salmon Arm to Banff

    • Breakfast included at your hotel
    • Depart the hotel and head into the Rocky Mountains
    • Stop for a coffee break in the quaint mountain town of Revelstoke
    • Travel through Rogers Pass in Glacier National Park
    • Visit the Natural Bridge in Yoho National Park
    • Explore beautiful Lake Louise 
    • Arrive in the town of Banff and check into your centrally located hotel on Banff Avenue
    • Free time for dinner in Banff

    Day 3 — Banff

    • Breakfast included at your hotel
    • Start the day off with a gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain and take in the magnificent views of the Rockies
    • Enjoy a scenic tour around Lake Minnewanka & Two Jack Lake Loop
    • Enjoy a tour of Banff townsite including Bow Falls and the famous Banff Springs Hotel

    Day 4 — Banff to Radium Hotsprings and Golden

    • Breakfast at the hotel then depart Banff 
    • Visit Marble Canyon - a stunning natural gorge located in Kootenay National Park. The narrow, deep canyon features strikingly smooth, layered limestone and dolomite rock walls and turquoise glacial waters in the summer and ice walls in the winter. On our walk we will explore a series of scenic bridges and trails offering dramatic views of the canyon's depths, waterfalls, and surrounding forest
    • Stop in the town of Radium for lunch
    • Enjoy a soak in the natural Radium Hot Springs (included)
    • Arrive in the town of Golden with free time for dinner
    • Evening at leisure in Golden
