Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 — Manaus - Amazon River
At 8:30am we'll pick you up from your hotel lobby and begin the tour. By 9:00am we'll depart from Manaus's port by speed boat and cross the Rio Negro to the village of Cacau Pirera. Here we'll transfer by car to the village of Paricatuba. From here we'll board a motorized canoe and journey to our Lodge. We'll arrive around noon and enjoy lunch. Then our guide will take you on a canoe trip through small creeks and go fishing for piranhas. A nocturnal expedition will allow you to see alligators and other wildlife that are hidden during the day time.

Day 2 — Amazon Jungle - Manaus
After breakfast we'll explore the area on an educational jungle walk. During the walk the guide will teach you about medicinal plants and the trees of the Amazon rainforest. The high altitude means different plant life, bigger trees and a dense forest. After the walk, we'll return to the lodge for lunch. You'll have some free time to swim in the tea-colored waters of the Rio Negro and prepare to travel back to Manaus. We'll return to Manaus around 5:00pm.

Please state your hotel in Manaus for pick-up during booking.

Our Lodge is considered ecological, for this reason we do not have electricity power 24 hours a day. During the night time we offer one hour of power so you can be able to charge your cameras batteries.

What to bring: long-sleeve shirt, long pants, insect repellent, sunscreen, sunglasses, sun hat , towels for personal use and a swimsuit.

Safety equipment: on the day of the tour will be required to buy mosquito net (designed for your hammocks) and a raincoat. These devices can be purchased directly with the transfer guide.
