Duration: 3 hours Introduction (10 minutes) Welcome and introductions Brief overview of momos and their cultural significance Introduction to the ingredients and equipment used in the class Preparing the Filling (40 minutes) Explanation of different filling options (vegetarian, chicken, or meat) Demonstrations on how to prepare the filling with the chosen ingredients Participants get hands-on experience in making their own filling Making the Dough (30 minutes) Explanation of the dough ingredients and their importance Step-by-step instructions on kneading and preparing the momo dough Participants make their own dough and let it rest for a few minutes Rolling and Shaping the Momos (40 minutes) Demonstrations on how to roll out the momo wrappers to the perfect thickness Techniques for shaping different momo styles (traditional pleats, crescent moon, etc.) Participants practice rolling and shaping their own momos Steaming the Momos (20 minutes) Explanation of the steaming process and its importance in cooking momos Tips on setting up a steamer and preparing it for cooking Participants steam their momos until they are fully cooked and tender Dipping Sauces (15 minutes) Introduction to various momo dipping sauces (spicy, mild, soy-based, etc.) Demonstrations on how to prepare the dipping sauces Participants create their own dipping sauces to complement their momos Tasting and Enjoying (15 minutes) All participants gather together to taste the momos they've made Instructor provides feedback and answers questions Participants enjoy their momos with the dipping sauces they prepared Q&A and Conclusion (10 minutes) Open floor for any questions and clarifications Recap of the key steps and techniques learned in the class.
