Beginning with a breathtaking flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the trek covers approximately 130 kilometers round trip and reaches a maximum elevation of 5,364 meters. Along the way, you’ll pass through iconic Sherpa villages like Namche Bazaar and Tengboche, surrounded by stunning views of Himalayan giants such as Ama Dablam and Lhotse.
The trail winds through rhododendron forests, across suspension bridges, and steadily climbs through key acclimatization points like Dingboche and Lobuche. The final stretch leads you alongside the Khumbu Glacier to Everest Base Camp, offering dramatic scenery and views of the famed Khumbu Icefall. A hike to Kala Patthar provides an unforgettable sunrise panorama of Mount Everest.
While this trek is typically designed for physically fit trekkers, we can customize the itinerary by adding one or two extra days for better acclimatization or to suit your personal pace and schedule. The trek usually begins in Kathmandu and ends in Lukla.
