Itinerary

1. Day 1 · Arrival in Kathmandu. Arrive in Kathmandu, the vibrant capital of Nepal. Transfer to the hotel and rest to acclimatize to the new surroundings.
2. Day 2 · Explore Kathmandu. Guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu's iconic landmarks, including Swayambhunath and Boudhanath Stupa. Prepare for the trek with a briefing in the evening.
3. Day 3 · Fly to Pokhara and Jomsom. Catch a short domestic flight to Pokhara, enjoying stunning mountain views along the way. Take another scenic flight to Jomsom, the starting point of the trek. Begin the trek to Kagbeni and experience your first taste of Upper Mustang's unique beauty.
4. Day 4 · Kagbeni to Chele. Trek from Kagbeni to Chele, passing through the picturesque village of Tangbe. Marvel at the striking red cliffs and explore the ancient cave dwellings of Upper Mustang.
5. Day 5 · Chele to Syanboche. Cross the Taklam La pass, offering mesmerizing views of the surrounding landscapes. Traverse through Samar village and descend to Syanboche, our destination for the day.
6. Day 6 · Syanboche to Ghemi. Trek through beautiful landscapes and pass the Yamda La. Reach the charming village of Ghemi and explore its ancient monastery.
7. Day 7 · Ghemi to Tsarang. Continue the journey to Tsarang, crossing the Nyi La pass. Explore the fascinating Tsarang Gompa and enjoy panoramic views of the mountains.
8. Day 8 · Tsarang to Lo Manthang. Trek to the crown jewel of Upper Mustang, Lo Manthang, the Forbidden Kingdom. Marvel at the medieval architecture, ancient palaces, and the imposing King's Palace.
9. Day 9 · 10: Explore Lo Manthang and Attend Tiji Festival. Immerse yourself in the cultural festivities of the Tiji Festival, celebrated with grandeur and devotion. Witness the colorful masked dances and rituals depicting ancient legends.
10. Day 11 · Lo Manthang to Dhakmar. Bid farewell to Lo Manthang and begin the trek back, passing through Ghar Gompa. Continue to Dhakmar village, known for its unique red cliffs.
11. Day 12 · Dhakmar to Ghiling. Trek through scenic landscapes, crossing high passes like Yara La. Arrive at Ghiling and explore the village's ancient monastery and traditional lifestyle.
12. Day 13 · Ghiling to Chhuksang. Descend to Chhuksang, where you'll find the famous red cliffs and cave dwellings. Celebrate the successful completion of the trek with a farewell dinner.
13. Day 14 · Return to Jomsom and Fly Back to Kathmandu. Reach Jomsom and catch a flight back to Pokhara. Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu and depart with wonderful memories of the Upper Mustang adventure.
