Day 1: Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Ulleri Begin your first day in Pokhara. Following breakfast, ride to Nayapul via a local bus. After reaching Nayapul, hike up to Ulleri.
It will take around 3 hours to get to Ulleri. Roars of Modi, chirping of birds, and the beautiful rhododendron forest on the way will make your hike more interesting. Stay overnight at a lodge in Ulleri.
Day 2: Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani Early morning following a hasty breakfast, begin your trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani. Cross a famous village called Banthali, inhabited by the Magar community that offers magnificent views of Annapurna South, Himchuli, and many more. After crossing several streams and trekking through beautiful rhododendron and oak forests, reach Nangethanti.
From Nangethanti, it is just a 1-hour walk to Ghorepani. Day 3: Trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Ghandruk Start your trek before dawn and hike to Poon hill base so that you will not miss the beautiful sunrise. It will take nearly 1 hour to reach the top of Poon hill from its base.
Following your arrival at the top, wait for the sun to rise. Enjoy the sunrise and the alluring view of mountains like Annapurna I, Fishtail, and Dhaulagiri. After that, head back to Ghorepani.
