2. Day 2 · This epic overland tour caters to travelers short on time who prefer to skip lengthy treks and avoid dusty trails. Since 1992, the restricted region of Upper Mustang and its capital, Lo Manthang, has welcomed foreign visitors. Recent road developments have made this area increasingly popular among both local and international adventurers.
3. Day 3 · Your journey begins with a scenic flight or drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Here, you can explore the city, enjoy the nightlife, and prepare for your Mustang adventure. Catch a private jeep to Beni and then head to Tatopani.
4. Day 4 · Where you can relax in natural hot springs known for their healing properties. After your rejuvenating soak, continue to Kagbeni the gateway to Upper Mustang. where you can marvel at timeless caves and monasteries of great historical and cultural significance.
5. Day 5 · Next, take a short ride to Muktinath Temple, sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists.. Who revere it as the abode of Hindu deity Vishnu and Buddhist deity Avalokiteśvara. After performing puja and paying your respects and drive back to Kagbeni for overnight stay.
6. Day 6 · The next day ride to Chhuksang and navigate through charming villages before reaching Lo Manthang. Lomangthang is the capital city of Upper Mustang. Here, immerse yourself in the local cuisine and witness the ancient culture, traditions, and lifestyles of the people.
