Chidhan Ba: Cha Room is next to the central courtyard of Pilachhen, an ancient indigenous Newar community. In the earthquake of 25th April 2015, almost 80 houses were damaged here. However, this earthquake brought a new hope among the community people to rebuild their houses in the same manner and style inorder to promote this place as an touristic center. This property is owned by Mr Surendra Maharjan, a handicraft worker. He makes metal statues which is what Patan is world famous for.
