### Tourist — Macau Tourist Visa (Pre-Arrival via CVASC Kathmandu)

### groupTour — Macau Group Tourist Visa

**Purpose:** Group tourism (≥10 persons).
**Stay duration:** Up to 30 days.
**Validity:** 90 days from issuance.
**Entries:** Single (group).

**How to apply:** CVASC Kathmandu — Tue/Wed/Thu only — group leader submits joint application.

### Work — Macau Work / Resident Visa (Non-resident Worker Permit)

**Purpose:** Salaried employment in Macau.
**Stay duration:** Per work permit (1–2 years).
**Validity:** Per work permit.
**Entries:** Multiple via Resident Card.
**Processing time:** 4–12 weeks.
**How to apply:** Macau employer obtains Non-resident Worker Permit from Macau Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) → visa stamping via Macau Identification Department / Chinese diplomatic mission.

## Important general notes

- Every Nepali-language document MUST be accompanied by a notary-certified English translation — embassies will reject untranslated originals. Use a Nepal Bar Council–registered translator and have each translation notarised by a Notary Public.
- CRITICAL: Nepali ordinary passport holders CANNOT obtain Visa-on-Arrival in Macau — Nepal has been on the Macau VOA-exclusion list since 1 July 2010 (along with Bangladesh, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam). Visa MUST be obtained in advance via the Chinese diplomatic mission abroad.
- For Nepalis, the only application route is CVASC Kathmandu (Rising Mall, Kamaladi) — Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday only, 09:00–15:00.
- Macau visa is a SEPARATE authorisation from a Chinese mainland visa. Holding a Chinese L visa does NOT cover Macau and vice versa — apply for both separately if visiting both.
- Diplomatic / official Nepali passport holders: visa-free for stays up to 14 days.
- Maximum stay: 30 days from date of entry, single entry standard.
- Visa fees collected by Macau PSP at port / via consulate.
