## Itinerary

### Day 1: Home - Cusco

Arrival at Cusco Airport, followed by a transfer to the hotel in the city center. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of the charming city of Cusco. Once the capital of the Inca Empire, Cusco boasts a pleasant climate and is surrounded by majestic mountains and lush forests. For this reason, it is often referred to as "the Jewel in the Crown of the Andes." An exclusive stroll in the city that starts with a visit to the Plaza de San Cristóbal (San Cristobal Square) to enjoy a panoramic overview of the city. Afterwards, we will visit the San Pedro Market , where we will absorb the local flavors and learn more about the products of the area in this market that has it all and supplies the entire city. Later, the Qorikancha Temple will welcome us with all its splendor and magnificence, with walls that used to be covered in gold. From San Blas, the artisans' neighborhood, we will walk down the street Hatun Rumiyoc finding in our way the palace Inca Roca, today's Archbishops Palace, and we will have time to admire the world famous Twelve Angled Stone . We will continue to the Main Square of Cusco to visit The Cathedral that houses colonial works of incredible value.

### Day 2: Cusco - Machu Picchu

Travel by train to one of the New Seven Wonders of the World - Machu Picchu . Known as the "Lost City of the Incas," Machu Picchu was long shrouded in legend until its rediscovery in the early 20th century, when stories spoke of a mysterious ancient city hidden deep within the rugged Andes of Peru. Owing to its sacred, mysterious, and spiritual atmosphere, Machu Picchu has been listed among the world's top ten historic and sacred sites. The ancient citadel sits at an altitude of 2,280 meters, flanked on both sides by cliffs rising approximately 600 meters, with the Urubamba River flowing endlessly through the valley below. In the Inca language, "Machu Picchu" means "Old Mountain Peak." In 1983, Machu Picchu was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the few places in the world recognized for both its cultural and natural significance. Upon arrival, your guide will assist you in taking a bus up to the Machu Picchu archaeological site, offering spectacular views of the winding Urubamba River far below the cliffs along the way. Once there, begin a guided exploration of the magnificent Inca sanctuary, including the agricultural terraces, ceremonial areas, and residential quarters. After completing the classic route with your guide, you will have free time to explore the ruins at your own pace. Afterward, take the bus back down to the town for lunch. In the afternoon, board the train for the return journey to your hotel in Cusco.

### Day 3: End of Tour

We will transfer you to Cusco Airport for the ending of the tour.
