## Itinerary

### Day 1: Glencoe and the Rannoch Moor

Leaving Edinburgh, we travel northwest to see the Kelpies, two giant horse-head sculptures symbolizing Scotland's industrial strength. We continue through the Lowlands to Stirling, where Stirling Castle stands high on a rocky hill, offering a glimpse into Scotland's proud history. After a photo stop, we cross into the Highlands, where the flat farmland shifts to lochs, forests, and mountains as we enter Trossachs National Park . A quick pause by a peaceful loch lets you breathe the fresh Highland air. We then stop in Killin for free time for lunch (not included), famous for the roaring Falls of Dochart and ties to the folk hero Rob Roy. Our journey continues through spectacular Highland scenery—rivers, woods, and lochs—before crossing the remote Rannoch Moor. We arrive at Glencoe , known for its rugged beauty and tragic past, where there's time for photos or a short walk. In the early evening, we drive along Loch Linnhe to Fort William, where you can explore the town, admire views of Ben Nevis, or learn about its Jacobite history.

### Day 2: The 'Harry Potter' Rail Bridge

Leaving Fort William, we embark on a stunning drive to Glenfinnan, a place rich in history and known for its iconic viaduct. Nestled between towering mountains and the shimmering waters of Loch Shiel, Glenfinnan blends natural beauty with deep heritage. Here, you'll see the famous viaduct featured in the Harry Potter films and a moving monument dedicated to the Jacobites who fought bravely for their cause. You'll have time to enjoy the views and visit the monument before watching the Jacobite Steam Train cross the viaduct. Next, we travel to Mallaig, where you can enjoy a quick break time for lunch (not included) before boarding the ferry to Skye*. The afternoon is spent exploring the stunning Sleat Peninsula , known as the "Garden of Skye" for its lush, green landscapes. Your driver-guide will tailor the route to the weather, possibly visiting the waterfalls of Glenbrittle or the dramatic Cuillin Mountains at Elgol, where breathtaking views await. As the day winds down, we head to your overnight accommodation in the Lochalsh or Skye area**. *During the winter months (October till the end of April) you take a scenic route through Kyle of Lochalsh and drive over the Skye Bridge. **Overnights: From April to October this tour spends two nights in either Kyleakin or Kyle of Lochalsh and one night in Fort William. From November to March this changes to two nights in Broadford and one night in Fort William

### Day 3: Skye’s most iconic scenery

Skye reveals beauty at every turn, and today your driver-guide will tailor the journey to make the most of the time and weather in this stunning landscape. Exploring Skye feels like stepping into a dream, with endless places to discover. You may head north to the Trotternish Ridge and beyond, where natural wonders like the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, and the dramatic Quiraing mountain pass await. This area captivates with surreal rock formations, towering cliffs, wide-open spaces, and a wild, untouched feel. After a morning of exploration, we'll stop in one of the island's towns for free time for lunch (not included) to refresh before the afternoon. Later, your driver-guide might share stories of clan legends and history as you visit Dunvegan Castle, the 13th-century ancestral home of Clan MacLeod . In the early evening, you'll return to your accommodation in the Lochalsh or Skye area, where you can relax or explore more on your own before the final day of your tour.

### Day 4: Eilean Donan Castle & Fort Augustus

We start the day with a visit to Eilean Donan Castle , set on a small island. This famous fortress, known for its movie appearances, holds many ancient tales. Enjoy refreshments at a nearby café and take a walk along the loch to admire the castle’s exterior, or explore inside to see artifacts from the MacKenzie and MacRae clans. From there, we travel past sparkling lochs framed by the rugged peaks of the Five Sisters of Kintail . Soon, we arrive in the charming village of Fort Augustus, nestled on the shore of Loch Ness. After stopping for lunch (not included) in Fort Augustus, you can choose how to spend your time. Wander along the Caledonian Canal to watch boats passing through its locks, sample Scottish dishes in a cozy café or restaurant, or stroll down to the edge of Loch Ness in hopes of spotting the legendary monster. Heading south, we travel past the broad mountains of Cairngorms National Park, pausing for photos along the way. As the mountains soften, they give way to lush forests. We make a final refreshment stop in the beautiful cathedral town of Dunkeld, resting on the banks of the River Tay. In the early evening, we continue south through the rolling hills and fertile farmland of Fife. On the way back to Edinburgh, enjoy your last highlight—a view of the iconic UNESCO-listed Forth Rail Bridge.
