## Itinerary

### Day 1: Manila

Mabuhay welcome to Manila! The metropolis of Manila, widely known as Metro Manila, is the center of business and finance, entertainment, culture, politics, and transportation in the Philippines. Some of the country’s historical tourist spots, dating back over 400 years to the Spanish era, can be found here. Intramuros, the ‘Walled City,’ is Manila’s oldest district and historic center - the original seat of the Spanish colonial government. Just steps away is Fort Santiago, where national hero Dr. José Rizal was held before his execution at Luneta Park. Metro Manila’s social scene is unmatched, with massive shopping malls like SM Mall of Asia (one of Southeast Asia’s largest) and the mid- to upscale bargaining in Greenhills. Dining and nightlife thrive in Greenbelt (Makati), Serendra, and Bonifacio High Street. Upon arrival at Manila airport, you’ll be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

### Day 2: Manila

Spend the day at leisure or choose one of our optional day-tour offerings.

### Day 3: Manila - Banaue

Meet our tour representative in your hotel lobby for the Northern Round-Trip Tour. We’ll thread our way through morning traffic to Dimasalang’s flower market, where every color of bloom lines the stalls. Then north on the expressway across the fertile Central Plains of Luzon: past water-buffalo-dotted fields, herons foraging in rice paddies, and small roadside crafts in Nueva Ecija. Crossing the Caraballo Range via Dalton Pass, you’ll glimpse the Sierra Madre mountains. By afternoon, we reach Banaue - famous for its rice terraces - check in and overnight.

### Day 4: Banaue - Batad - Banaue

After breakfast, board a local jeepney up to the Saddle, Batad’s trek jump-off. Hike through wooded trails to an amphitheater of terraces and the secluded Batad village. Lunch at Simon’s View Inn, then return to Banaue for overnight.

### Day 5: Banaue - Sagada

Drive inland along Mt. Polis’s winding highway into Bontoc country, passing vegetable terraces and allang huts. Explore the Bontoc Museum’s Igorot artifacts, then continue to limestone-cliff Sagada - home of the famed “hanging coffins.” Visit Lumiang burial caves and drop by the Sagada Weaving House before returning for overnight.

### Day 6: Sagada - Vigan

After breakfast, drive through Cordillera high passes - deep gorges and Bessang Pass battlefields - into Ilocos Sur’s tobacco barns and coastal settlements. Cross the Abra River into colonial Vigan for your overnight stay.
