## Itinerary

### Day 1: Rome

Welcome to Rome! We'll transfer you to the hotel and you'll have some free time. In the afternoon, you'll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception. IMPORTANT: - Check-in: Please note that hotel check-in time is usually at 02:00 p.m. If you require earlier room availability, consider booking an additional night at the beginning of your trip. - Optional Activities: During your trip, your guide may offer optional activities. If these activities are available on the local operator's app or through your "My Trip" link, we strongly recommend booking them as early as possible to ensure availability. Waiting until the last minute may result in missed opportunities due to limited tickets, bus seats, or other factors. Note: The schedules provided in this itinerary are indicative. The guide may adjust them as needed to enhance the trip experience.

### Day 2: Rome

In the morning, we'll take a three-hour guided tour of the Eternal City, combining a walking tour of Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride to explore one of the oldest and most influential cities in Western civilization. During the tour, we'll visit several iconic sites, including the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums, the Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, the Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. This tour will end around 11:00 a.m. at Vatican City, an independent state within Rome and the center of the Catholic Church. For those who are especially interested, our guide will offer an optional visit after the panoramic tour to explore in more detail the most important halls of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Free afternoon. 6:00 p.m. – To wrap up the day, we'll include a transfer to the popular Trastevere neighborhood, known for its charming restaurants and lively atmosphere. 8:30 p.m. Return to the hotel (Approx.)

### Day 3: Rome

Free day. If you wish, you'll have the option to join an optional excursion, which will vary depending on the time of year. From April through late October, you can discover the charming island of Capri. From November through late March, you will have the option to visit Naples and the fascinating ruins of Pompeii.

### Day 4: Rome - Florence

Total distance covered: 320km. Scenery: Pleasant landscapes of historical towns along the route. Note: Due to traffic regulations established by the City Council of Florence, tourist buses are not allowed to enter the historic city center. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes. 08:00 a.m . –Departure from Rome. We will head north, enjoying the beautiful landscapes along the way. (Departure time may vary slightly depending on the pickup hotels.) 12:15 p.m. – Arrival in Florence. We will go directly to the Michelangelo Viewpoint, from where we will enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the city. Afterward, we will walk to the historic city center where, after some free time for lunch, we will take an included guided tour with a local guide of this iconic city, the capital of Tuscany, considered the cradle of the Renaissance and the birthplace of some of the most influential artists and thinkers in history, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Raphael. During the tour, we will see its impressive Gothic cathedral (the Duomo), the ancient stone bridge known as the Ponte Vecchio with its traditional goldsmith shops, and Piazza della Signoria, the political heart of the city dominated by the medieval palace that now serves as the City Hall. The guided tour will last approximately two hours. After the tour, you will have free time. We suggest strolling through the city’s artistic center, walking across the Ponte Vecchio with its charming galleries, or relaxing in one of its elegant squares.

### Day 5: Florence - Venice

Total distance covered: 310 km. Scenery: Pleasant landscapes as we cross the Apennines, enjoying mountain views. 08:15 a.m. - Departure from Florence. 12:00 p.m. - Venice. We'll transfer to Tronchetto to take a private boat to the historic center of Venice. We'll cruise along the Giudecca Canal, admiring the stunning views of Venice. After lunch, which will be included for those with half board, we'll go on a walking tour with a local guide, exploring St. Mark´s Square, including the Basilica and Campanile. We'll also visit a renowned Murano Glass Factory to see traditional glass-working techniques. Afterward, you'll have some free time. Our guide will suggest taking a gondola ride. 07:30 p.m. - Transfer back to the hotel (usually located in Mestre) from San Marco district on our private boat.

### Day 6: Venice

Free day to explore. A day to enjoy the moment, discover new landscapes, and let every corner reveal its own story and beauty in peace.

### Day 7: Venice - Padua - San Marino - Gubbio - Perugia

Total distance covered: 475 km. Scenery: The highlight is the arrival in San Marino, with its fortress perched atop the mountain. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes while crossing the Apennines. 07:30 a.m. – Departure from Venice. 08:15 a.m. - Padua. We are in the city of San Antonio, home to a beautiful medieval basilica that receives many pilgrims, with bustling streets in the center. Time to visit the Basilica. 09:30 a.m. – Departure from Padua. We'll travel to the Adriatic coast and then to San Marino, a tiny independent country surrounded by Italy. 01:30 p.m. - San Marino. Free time at the top of the heavily fortified mountain. Time to stroll, have lunch, and do some shopping. 04:00 p.m. – Departure from San Marino. Beautiful countryside crossing the Apennines. 06:15 p.m. - Gubbio. A small, marvelously preserved city, where the Palace of Consuls and the twelfth-century cathedral stand out. Time for a walk. 07:30 p.m. – Departure from Gubbio 08:30 p.m. – Perugia. Arrival and accommodation.

### Day 8: Perugia - Assisi - Rome

Total distance covered: 215 km. Scenery: Pleasant views of Umbria. Note: Please note that appropiate dress is required to enter the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi; kindly ensure that shoulders and knees are covered. 08:00 a.m. – In the region of Umbria, Perugia is a fascinating historic medieval city. With a local guide, we’ll enjoy a guided tour. Using the escalators that cross the rocky outcrop, we’ll reach and explore the city’s remarkable historic center, including its underground medieval streets. 10:15 a.m. - Departure from Perugia. 11:00 a.m. - Assisi. Arrival in this charming medieval city protected by impressive walls, birthplace of Saint Francis. You’ll have time for lunch, to visit the basilicas and to wander through the cobblestone streets with their stunning views of the Umbrian countryside. 01:30 p.m. - Departure from Assisi. 04:00 p.m. - Rome. Our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful and lasting memories. Please, check the time of your flight in case you might need an additional night. Our guide will advise you on the best public transportation for your transfers.
