## Itinerary

### Day 1: Hong Kong

Start your China tour from Hong Kong, the oriental country's first and most Westernized cosmopolis. Touching down at Hong Kong International Airport, meet your tour guide and driver for an efficient transfer to your hotel, check-in, and relax to recover from jet lag.

### Day 2: Hong Kong

Start your discovery of Hong Kong by admiring Hong Kong's enchanting city skyline from the top of Victoria Peak with the Peak Tram up and down. Afterward, visit Man Mo Temple and enjoy a Cantonese dim sum lunch nearby. In the afternoon, you will explore the Central Mid-Levels Escalator area, visiting Central Market and Tai Kwun to gain insights into Hong Kong's urban life and historical culture. Following this, hop on the " Ding Ding Tram " - (Hong Kong Tram)， a century-old mode of transportation to follow the life tracks of Hong Kong locals. Later, take the Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui and stroll along the famous Avenue of Stars.

### Day 3: Hong Kong - Guilin

Have a free morning to discover more in Hong Kong at your own pace. Meet your guide at the appointed time and proceed to the railway station to board a bullet train to Guilin. Upon arrival in about 3.5 hours, be welcomed and transferred to your hotel in the city center. After checking in, stroll around your hotel at your pace to enjoy its picturesque night views.

### Day 4: Guilin - Yangshuo

This morning, you will be transferred to the dock, about 50 minutes to downtown by drive, to embark on a 4-hour Li River Cruise down to Yangshuo. Along the way, soak up the world-famous karst landscape and otherworldly countryside scenery. When disembarking in Yangshuo, you can join in the hustle and bustle of West Street or take a private transfer directly to your peaceful and cozy countryside hotel.

### Day 5: Yangshuo

This morning, take a join-in cooking class (about 3 hours) to discover locals' favored dishes, like beer fish and egg dumplings, from an English-speaking chef. Then, enjoy your creations for lunch. In the afternoon, ride a bicycle or sit in your car to sightsee around and relish in the laidback countryside of Yangshuo.

### Day 6: Yangshuo - Guilin - Xi'an

Have a leisurely morning and then be transferred to the airport for your flight to Xi'an. After you touch down and meet your guide, a private transfer will take you to your hotel.

### Day 7: Xi'an

Embark on a remarkable encounter with the legendary Terracotta Army . Despite being buried for over 2,200 years, these terracotta warriors and horses retain a lifelike quality, each face telling a unique story. In the evening, wander into the brightly-lit Great Tang All Day Mall , with elaborately dressed boys and girls in ancient costumes shuttled around and giving a feeling as if you have traveled back to the heyday of the Tang Dynasty 1,200 years ago.

### Day 8: Xi'an - Beijing

Start the day by exploring the Muslim Street , a live testament of the ancient Silk Road, and step into the Gao's Courtyard to try your hand at Chinese calligraphy and enjoy a shadow puppet play . In the afternoon, be transferred to the railway station for a bullet train to Beijing. Arriving in 4.5 to 6 hours, meet your local guide for a private transfer from the railway station to your hotel.

### Day 9: Beijing

Embark on your exploration of the capital city from Tiananmen Square , a significant political landmark in modern China. Enter the 600-year-old Forbidden City , an imperial citadel of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and immerse yourself in the architectural marvels and captivating stories of the royal families. Following an authentic Chinese lunch, ascend Jingshan Park for sweeping views of the magnificent royal palace complex and the historic central axis of the city.

### Day 10: Beijing

After breakfast, drive about two hours to visit the Great Wall . Here, you can take a cable car up and do moderate hiking on the wall to enjoy the majestic scenery. Afterward, return to your hotel for a short break. As for dinner, we recommend the Peking Roast Duck , one of the most favored dishes in local Beijing since the imperial era.

### Day 11: Beijing

Commence your day at the Temple of Heaven , where you'll admire the architectural elegance and witness locals engaging in morning exercises such as Tai Chi, sword dancing, and practicing Chinese calligraphy on the ground with large brushes and water. Then, explore the hidden historical neighborhood of Hutong , visit a local family, and join them for an authentic homemade lunch. Continue in the afternoon the Summer Palace , strolling around its exquisitely laid-out gardens, lakes, and temples and reading the storied paintings on the roof of its Long Corridor. If weather permits, enjoy boating on Kunming Lake.

### Day 12: Beijing

Today you are saying goodbye to China. Enjoy some free time on your own until you're taken to the airport for your flight returning home.
