### Day 1: Beijing

Transfer service from Beijing airport to Beijing hotel, and stay overnight at hotel.

### Day 2: Tiananmen Square - Forbidden City - Temple of Heaven

You will meet your English-speaking guide and driver in the lobby of your Beijing hotel at 8:00am . First proceed to Tiananmen Square , one of the largest squares in the world and the main gate to the imperial city of Beijing during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Then visit the Forbidden City , the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties, an unrivaled masterpiece of ancient architecture and the largest and most structurally complete wooden ancient building complex in the world. On the way to the Temple of Heaven, you will also visit a silk factory and learn about the traditional silk culture there. Note : Due to government policies limiting the number of people entering the Forbidden City per day, if we are unable to book tickets for the Forbidden City, we will visit Jingshan Park as an alternative. The Forbidden City in Beijing is closed every Monday. Afterwards, you will proceed to the impressive Temple of Heaven , the largest surviving ancient ceremonial complex in China. Then experience interesting tea ceremony at tea house before coming back hotel.

### Day 3: Great Wall - Summer Palace

On the third day, you will visit the Great Wall of China, a World Heritage Site that combines military, political, cultural and tourist functions. More than just a wall, it is a vivid portrayal of the long history of the Chinese nation and a vehicle for cultural inheritance, followed by a visit to the amazing Chinese Jade Gallery , where you can experience the ancient jade culture. In the afternoon, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and then visit the Summer Palace , an outstanding representative of ancient Chinese garden art, which harmoniously blends man-made landscapes with natural landscapes. Finally go back to hotel.

### Day 4: Hutong - Yonghe Palace

We started to join the interesting Hutong tour at 8:30am. We walked into the Hutong as if we had travelled back in time to that ancient era. The courtyard usually consists of the main house, the inverted seat, the left and right compartments and the ear rooms, forming a closed quadrangle space. Here you can feel the living atmosphere of the old Beijing people, the kind of leisurely, self-contained lifestyle. Then visit the main venues of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games , followed by lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Yonghe Palace , which is one of the highest specification Buddhist temples in the country. On both sides of the main hall, standing opposite each other from east to west, are the Four Heavenly Kings in clay and gold coloured sculptures. The four heavenly kings have their feet on the ghosts and monsters, indicating their duties and merits in suppressing evils and protecting the world, and finally transfer back to the hotel or airport.
