## Itinerary

### Day 1: Lisbon

Welcome to Lisbon! Transfer to the hotel and free time. You will be provided with the information required for the beginning of the trip in the afternoon; otherwise, the information will appear on the information panels at the hotel reception area. Important: Remember that hotels check-in time is usually at 14:00 hrs. If you require more hours of room availability, consider booking an additional night at the beginning of your trip. Note: The schedules that you will find in this itinerary are indicative. The guide, depending on the situation and in order to improve the development of the trip, may adjust the schedules. Note: All the following hotels are for your reference only, you may check-in other similar hotels. Note: All mentioned hotels below are for your reference only, you might also check-in other same-level hotels.

### Day 2: Lisbon

City tour of Lisbon. In the morning city tour with a local guide lasting approximately 2 hours. During this visit we will pass through the following points: Eduardo VII park, Baixa Pombalina (Marqués de Pombal square, Rossío square with views of the San Jorge castle, Alfama), Estrela neighborhood, Estrela Basilica, Monument to the Discoveries, Belém Tower, Jerónimos Monastery. The visit will finish in the city center. Free time in the afternoon to continue exploring the city. We suggest you taking the Elevator da Gloria to visit Bairro Alto and the viewpoint São Pedro. Our guide will optionally offer you to visit the beautiful towns of Sintra with its castle and Cascais and Estoril by the sea. 20:30 hrs. - We return from the Restauradores Square , an area with numerous restaurants and cafes, to the hotel.

### Day 3: Lisbon - Fátima - Porto

Total distance covered: 320 km Scenery: Beautiful green landscapes, rolling hills, and historic cities. 08:00 a.m. – Departure from Lisbon. 09:45 a.m. – Arrival in Fátima. Time to visit the Sanctuary, an important pilgrimage site that commemorates the apparitions of Our Lady to the three shepherd children. The chapel was built in 1919 at the site of the 1917 apparitions in Cova da Iria , and since then, the Sanctuary has continued to expand in response to the growing number of pilgrims. 11:30 a.m. – Departure from Fátima. 02:00 p.m. – Arrival in Porto. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we'll board a rabelo, a traditional Portuguese boat on the Douro River , for a 50-minute cruise. From the river, we'll admire Porto's beautiful waterfront and pass under six bridges, including the iconic Dom Luís I Bridge , one of the city's most famous landmarks. Free time to explore the lively medieval Ribeira district, known for its narrow cobblestone streets lined with historic merchant houses and charming cafés. 06:30 p.m. – Transfer to the hotel and accommodation.

### Day 4: Porto - Braga - Sanctuary of Bom Jesus - Guimarães - Aveiro- Coimbra

Total distance covered: 275 km Scenery: We will travel through the green hills and fertile valleys of northern Portugal, admiring its rich historical heritage. 08:30 a.m. – Porto. Departure. We set off toward the heart of northern Portugal. 09:30 a.m. – Braga. Arrival. Known as the religious capital of Portugal, Braga is home to the country's oldest cathedral and a lively historic center. Free time to stroll through its streets, filled with spirituality and tradition. 10:15 a.m . – Braga. Departure. A short drive takes us to one of the country's most famous sanctuaries. 10:30 a.m . – Bom Jesus. Arrival. We take the historic 19th-century funicular up to the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus, from where we enjoy breathtaking views. We suggest walking down the monumental baroque stairway, lined with fountains and sculptures. 11:45 a.m. – Bom Jesus. Departure. We continue to another key city in Portuguese history. 12:15 p.m . – Guimarães. Arrival. The first capital of the Kingdom of Portugal, its medieval center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Palace of the Dukes of Braganza evokes the grandeur of Portugal's origins. Free time for lunch. 2:45 p.m. – Guimarães. Departure. We head west toward the Atlantic. 4:30 p.m . – Aveiro. Arrival. Known as the "Venice of Portugal," here we will enjoy a ride on a traditional Moliceiro boat through its canals and aboard we´ll taste a typical local sweet. We will admire the colorful art nouveau houses, the salt flats, and the maritime charm of this city. 6:30 p.m. – Aveiro. Departure. 7:30 p.m . – Coimbra. Arrival. Hotel check-in and dinner included.

### Day 5: Coimbra - Batalha - Nazaré - Obidos - Lisbon

Pleasant landscapes, hills, forests, ocean. After breakfast a transfer to the historic center to walk in the third city of Portugal, a city with a very important past that has one of the oldest universities in the world and the oldest in Portugal. Enjoy its streets, its patios and its student life. 11:30 hrs. - Coimbra -departure. 12:30 hrs. - Batalha Monastery - entrance included in this impressive medieval mausoleum of kings with great historical significance given that the decisive event for the consolidation of the Portuguese nation took place there. You can see the monastery inside or see its impressive facade and stroll through the small shopping streets that surround it. 13:30 hrs. - Batalha Monastery - departure. 14:00 hrs. - Nazaré – arrival to this beautiful fishing town. We include the elevator that takes us up to the ancient city on the top of the cliff with stunning views over the ocean and the popular beach. Time for lunch and rest. 16:30 hrs. - Nazaré - departure. 17:00 hrs. - Óbidos - Arrival. Town full of charm with important medieval walls, with its castle, its streets full of flowers and commercial life. 18:15 hrs. - Óbidos - departure. 19:30 hrs. - Lisbon - arrival. Note : Due to the fact that the Nazaré elevator is under restoration at this time, and while the repair works continue, the ascent to the old city will be done by coach.

### Day 6: Lisbon

After breakfast, end of our services. Note: Remember that hotels check-out time is usually at 10.00 hrs. In most cases, you can leave your luggage at the hotel reception at check-out time, so you can enjoy the city and pick it up at the time you require that same day. If you need more time to use your room, please consider booking an additional night at the end of your tour.
