## Itinerary

### Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City

Pick-up at Tan Son Nhat International airport. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

### Day 2: Mekong Delta - My Tho & Ben Tre Coconut Village

A trip to Mekong Delta offers a glimpse into the unique and distinct agrarian life of the vibrant southern Delta region. We will enjoy a cruise along the Mekong River to one of the Islands (located in the town of My Tho) where we will be entertained with traditional music while enjoying some tea sweetened with bee's honey and seasonal fresh fruits. We will then take a paddle-boat to cruise through the narrow canals of the Mekong. One interesting thing about transportation in this region is that mostly everybody here travels by boats or ships because the number of canals is very interlaced. Here a system of transportation on water is developed so much. By traveling on canals, we can discover many distinct things such as along with the banks, a number of coconut trees grow side by side. The paddle-boat ride provides an interesting look into the local cottage industry of making coconut candies. We will then have a lunch of 'Elephant-Ear Fish' combined with other delicious Vietnamese dishes - a local specialty. Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda , which is recognized as a national historical and cultural relic with distinctive architectural and spiritual values, a place worth visiting should not be missed. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

### Day 3: Cu Chi Tunnels - Da Nang - Hoi An (by flight - 1 hour)

Check out for a half-day tour to Cu Chi Tunnels before flying to Da Nang. The Cu Chi Tunnels, a network stretching over 250 kilometers, are one of the most famous and historically significant aspects of the Vietnam War. Originally created in 1948 to support the Viet Minh in their fight for independence from the French, the digging and construction of tunnels continued for the next 25 years. The result was an underground city complete with living areas, kitchens, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers. These tunnels could accommodate thousands of people who lived almost entirely underground for years, leading relatively normal lives, including getting married and raising children. During the American War, the entire Cu Chi area was designated as a free-fire zone and faced heavy attacks and bombings. In 1988, two sections of the tunnels were opened to visitors. Now, you have the chance to enjoy this wonderful and informative experience. Constructed with "moving parts", these structures were designed to be livable for long periods of time. For those interested, there is an opportunity to fire rounds from a war-era M16 or AK47 at the nearby firing range. (This activity is optional; firing range fees are not included). After the trip, transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport to go to Hoi An. Upon arrival at Da Nang Airport, pick up and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.

### Day 4: Hoi An City Tour in the morning

Exploring Hoi An Ancient Town on foot is one of the best ways to immerse yourself in the city's charm. This small yet beautiful town offers tranquility and peace, combining elements of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese cultures. Visitors are captivated by the unique atmosphere, particularly from the Ancient Houses, where they can glimpse a long-gone past and experience a more subdued, simpler time. The tour includes visits to the bustling Hoi An Market , the informative Hoi An Museum , and many of the town's renowned Ancient Houses , each showcasing remarkable architectural styles. You will also explore Assembly Halls influenced by Chinese culture and the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, a must-see landmark. These sites highlight Hoi An's diverse architectural styles, reflecting the cross-cultural influences of France, Japan, China, and Vietnam. Despite centuries of change and the challenges posed by weather, Hoi An continues to preserve its ancient beauty and charm. As you stroll through the ancient city, you will witness the simple, rustic daily life of its residents, with trellises of windflowers adorning the houses. This tour promises to provide you with unforgettable moments and insights into Hoi An's rich heritage. Have free time in the afternoon. Overnight in Hoi An.

### Day 5: Hoi An Foodie tour - My Son Sanctuary

In the morning, embark on an unforgettable bicycle ride through the picturesque countryside of Hoi An, where the lush vegetable fields of Tra Que Village offer a glimpse into the region's agricultural traditions. As you cycle through the vibrant green landscape, immerse yourself in a hands-on cooking experience. Join a local family in crafting the delicate "white rose" dumplings, a Hoi An specialty, and learn the art of preparing Cao Lau, the region's renowned noodle dish. Alongside these, savor unique local treats like Banh Dap (a crunchy rice cracker) and Che Bap (a sweet corn dessert), offering a true taste of Hoi An's rich culinary culture. In the afternoon, take a scenic journey to the ancient My Son Sanctuary , a UNESCO World Heritage site, where the Champa Kingdom flourished from the 4th to the 13th centuries. Explore the towering temples, nestled in a lush valley, and learn about the kingdom's unique blend of Hindu influences. The site offers not only stunning views but also a fascinating look into the spiritual and political history of Southeast Asia. After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Da Nang Airport to go to Ha Noi. Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, pick up and transfer to your hotel. Check in and go for lunch before a City tour. In the afternoon, we will explore some of Ha Noi's heritage sites, including Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature), the first Imperial school in Vietnam, established in 1070 during the Ly Dynasty. Our visit will also include Hoan Kiem Lake , Ngoc Son Temple (Jade Mountain Temple), But Tower (Pen-Shaped Tower), Dai Nghien (Inkstone Stand), and the iconic The Huc Bridge (Wooden Bridge painted in red). Ha Long Bay is home to some 3000 limestone islands that rise out of the clear emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way, we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and enjoy a visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. Overnight on the cruise.
