### Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival

Upon arrival at the airport, welcome by our guide and driver, transferred to hotel and overnight in Siem Reap.

### Day 2: Angkor Complex

This destination is an impressive, two-and-a-half-meter-tall, 300-meter-long terrace wall adorned with carved elephants and garudas that spans the heart of Angkor Thom in front of Baphuon—a huge temple mountain in the heart of Angkor Thom, the Royal Palace Area, and Phimeanakas—an impressive sandstone pyramid. Then explore Ta Prohm temple , which is known for the huge trees and the massive roots growing out of its walls. Have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat temple, which was built in the first half of the 12th century. Angkor Wat is a miniature replica of the universe in stone and represents an earthly model of the cosmic world. It is a richly decorated, very large temple; the total temple area including the moat measures 1.5 kilometers long by 1.3 kilometers wide, or a total of about 2 square kilometers. Angkor Wat is the biggest Hindu temple in Cambodia. The temple is an object of pride for Cambodia; its depiction appears on the national flag. Then admire a romantic sunset at Pre Rup temple . Enjoy a traditional Apsara dance performance. Have a great time at Angkor night market! Overnight in Siem Reap.

### Day 3: Tonle Sap Floating Village

We will leave Angkor Wa t and proceed to the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia: Tonle Sap , and its floating villages. Along the way, we will pass through Kompong Phluk , a unique community of stilted houses whose name means "Harbor of the Tusks." Observe firsthand how villagers go about their daily lives in this remote and extraordinary environment. See colorful houses, schools, temples, churches, and local government offices. Wonder at the sight of the lush flooded forest (in the rainy season) within the surrounding floodplain. We will continue the boat ride past the village until we reach the immense waterscape of Tonle Sap Lake. Listen as your experienced guide explains Cambodia's most important source of life-giving resources. Optional (rainy season only): A magical canoe ride into the dense mangrove forest. Simply inform your guide if you wish to take this short tour for an additional cost. Finally, visit Artisans Angkor and the Old Market before your airport transfer.
