## Itinerary

### Day 1: Arrive Varanasi

Upon arrival at Varanasi airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. In the evening, attend the Holy Ganga Aarti on the banks of the Ganges. This enchanting ritual is held every evening at sunset, where the ghats are illuminated with divine lights, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere. The priests perform the aarti, lighting large brass lamps filled with oil while chanting sacred mantras that resonate throughout the area. After the aarti, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

### Day 2: Varanasi Sightseeing

Start your day early with a boat ride on the Ganges to witness the serene beauty of Varanasi's ghats. The ghats are steps leading down to the river where you can observe people bathing and performing religious rituals. The 88 ghats, each with its own significance, are also places of meditation and spirituality. After breakfast at your hotel, begin your city tour. First, visit Banaras Hindu University (BHU) , the largest residential university in India, covering an area of 5.3 sq km and home to over 30,000 students. Next, explore the Bharat Mata Temple , built in 1936, which houses a unique relief map of undivided India carved out of marble. Continue to the famous Tulsi Manas Mandir , dedicated to Lord Rama. This beautiful temple is adorned with verses from the Ramcharitmanas , the Hindi version of the Ramayana, and houses stunning images of Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshman, and Hanuman. Later, visit Sarnath , the site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Here, you can see the Dhamekh Stupa , an important Buddhist monument, and the Ashoka Pillar , erected by Emperor Ashoka in 273-232 B.C., marking the significance of the location. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

### Day 3: Varanasi Departure

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to Varanasi airport for your flight to Delhi.
