## Itinerary

### Day 1: Madrid

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Transfer to the hotel. Evening transport to the Gran Vía district. Welcome to Madrid! Upon arriving at the airport we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. You can enjoy free time until the beginning of your tour. Please, check the informative posters placed at the hotel reception area which have all the information about the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers. Towards the end of the day, we provide transfers to the Egyptian Debod Temple, Plaza de Es­paña and Gran Via; a vibrant district where you can dine at your preferred restaurant: Indian, Chinese, Spanish and Middle Eastern are some of the options available. Note: All mentioned hotels below are for your reference only, you might also check-in other same-level hotels.

### Day 2: Madrid

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Madrid city tour. Stroll through the Retiro Park. Visit to the Las Ventas bullring. Evening transfer. The morning starts with a comprehensive tour through the center of Madrid including the Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor. We then will visit Retiro Park, an oasis in the city center, where we will see the lake and the Glass Palace. A visit to Las Ventas Bullring (admission included) is next. This is one of the most famous bullrings in the world where we will learn about the tradition of the "corridas" at the Bullfighting Museum. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your own leisure. At sunset we will provide a transfer to Plaza de Oriente, opposite the Royal Palace, an elegant and bustling area with many restaurants serving different cuisines, such as local Spanish food, international and Chinese. Enjoy a pleasant dinner of your choice. At the end of the evening we will return to the hotel.

### Day 3: Madrid - Granada

Total distance covered: 450 km. Scenery: The plains of La Mancha, with the silhouettes of windmills and vast expanses of olive groves in the province of Jaén. 07:45 a.m. – Departure from Madrid (the schedule may vary slightly depending on the pickup points). We will stop in Puerto Lápice, a picturesque town in La Mancha that evokes the spirit of Don Quixote. 01:30 p.m. - Granada - Arrival at the hotel. Lunch will be included. In the afternoon (or the next morning if there are issues obtaining tickets), we will visit the magnificent Alhambra Palace and its beautiful Generalife Gardens, dating back to the Arab era, with a local guide. After the tour, you will have free time. We recommend taking a stroll through the Albaicín neighborhood. VERY IMPORTANT NOTES: -The number of visitors allowed into the Alhambra is strictly regulated by law. To ensure your admission, tickets will be issued upon confirming your tour reservation. It´s essential to provide accurate personal details (full name and passport/ID number) at the time of booking. Please be aware that ticket costs are non-refundable in case of cancellation. In rare cases where the Alhambra visit is not possible, we will instead tour the Royal Alcázar of Seville, which offers similar historical and architectural significance. -To access the Alhambra, you must present the document used to confirm your reservation (passport or ID).

### Day 4: Granada - Asilah - Rabat

Total distance covered: 530 km. Scenery: We´ll be following the Costa del Sol with views over the Mediterranean Sea and crossing the Strait of Gibraltar. Our journey will continue along areas nearing the Moroccan coast. Instructions: Remember to bring your passport; it will be necessary at the border. When it strikes 12 o´clock in Spain, it´ll be 10 or 11 o´clock in Morocco, depending on the time of year. Your guide will inform you when to adjust your watch for the time difference. Note: During the crossing between Spain and Morocco, you must carry your own luggage. 07:30 a.m. – Departure from Granada. Stunning views over the Mediterranean. 11:45 a.m. – Algeciras/Tarifa. We´ll take a ferry and cross the Strait of Gibraltar (tickets included), heading to Africa on a boat. The crossing will take approximately 1.5 hours (we suggest that you have lunch on board). Arrival in the port of Tangier. Customs and border procedures (there are sometimes delays). We´ll continue to Asilah, a small walled city facing the sea. Time for lunch and a walk through its beautiful walled medina. 04:30 p.m. – Departure from Asilah. We´ll continue along the motorway to Rabat, the diplomatic capital of the city, with its special charm. 07:30 p.m. – Rabat. Dinner and accommodation.

### Day 5: Rabat - Casablanca - Marrakech

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Guided visit in Rabat (admission fees included). Dis­cover Casablanca. Kalesa ride and dinner in Marrakech. We will go on a scenic tour of Rabat in which we will visit the immense Royal Palace, the Mohamed V Mausoleum and the mighty Kasbah of the Udayas. At midday, we will travel to CASABLANCA, where we will have a short but informative tour of the city. The tour includes a visit to the outside of what is considered one of the most important mosques in the Arab world, the great Hassan II mosque. Then, we will head to MARRAKECH. After arriving at the hotel, you will be able to experience a traditional Kalesa ride up to the famous Djema square. Dinner buffet included.

### Day 6: Marrakech

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Guided city tour. Admission fees and lunch included. We will start the day with a guided tour of the city which gave the country its name. We will get to know the great walls of the city, the bustling Jemaa square, walk through the colorful Medina and see the Kutubia tower. We will visit to the Bahia Palace (ticket included). Lunch included. We sill have some free time to relax at the pool or discover a famous Mar­rakech Souk (local market). In the evening, you can experience a Fantasia dinner and cultural show (optional).

### Day 7: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Ourzazate - Boumalne Dades

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Scenic landscapes. Visit a village built with adobe. Buffet dinner included. We will journey across the Atlas Mountains as their, usually snow-capped, high peaks will greet us as we say goodbye to Marrakech. Small Berber villages perch on the side of chasms. We will interrupt our journey to stop at the fortified village of AIT BENHADDOU, a place where several films have been filmed. At this point in our trip, our route will be going through the so-called biblical landscapes. We will spend some time in OUARZAZATE city with its impressive Kasbah. We will continue toward the valley of Roses. BOULMANE DADES. Dinner and accommodation. NOTE: On very rare occasions (during winter), the roads may be closed due to snowdrifts. If necessary, this section of the itinerary will be resched­uled according to our alternative itinerary. (Whether we can visit the Sahara or not will depends on road access).

### Day 8: Boumalne Dades - Todgha - Khorbat - Erfoud

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Beautiful scenery. Canyon in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains. Visit a village built with adobe. Buf­fet lunch included. Feel the adrenaline on an off-road excursion of the de­sert sand dunes. A journey full of excitement in the Sahara Desert: the Valley of the Kas­bahs; river valleys containing thousands of palm trees; Stone plains fol­lowed by oasis and adobe villages, powerful fortresses defending the thoroughfares. We will visit the stunningly magnificent TODGHA GORGE. On the way there, we shall stop at a small town built with adobe next to KHORBAT, visitors will be able to learn about this desert community, which is supported by the Europamundo Foundation. ( Note: due to weather conditions, such as river flooding, access might not possible at times ).We will continue toward ERFOUD. Lunch included. Anyone who wishes to, can go on a field trip to visit the sand dunes of the Sahara Desert (and experience dusk among the dunes).

### Day 9: Erfoud - Midelt - Azrou - Bhalil - Fez

Note: We’ll ascend to high altitudes in the Atlas, where it can be cold. Please bring warm clothing. 08:00 a.m. – We’ll leave Erfoud early, crossing the Atlas Mountains through powerful gorges and stunning landscapes. Then we’ll traverse a high, cold plateau inhabited by nomadic shepherds. 11:30 a.m. - Brief stop in Midelt, a central town in this region, supported mainly by agriculture, especially apples, and by stone, fossil, and mineral crafts. Time for a walk. 12:00 p.m. – Departure from Midelt. We’ll continue our journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping for lunch beside a tranquil lake in a stunning natural setting. Lunch will be included. As we travel, the landscape transforms dramatically, giving way to dense forests and a region where snowfall is frequent in winter. 03:15 p.m. - Azrou. We’ll stop in this National Park where we´ll enjoy watching the colonies of monkeys that inhabit this area. 04:00 p.m. – Departure from Azrou. 05:15 p.m. - Bhalil. Arrival in a small, quiet town home to Berbers of the Middle Atlas, featuring a very picturesque historic center with colorful streets. Traditionally, the population lived in caves, which are now part of the houses. 06:15 p.m. – Departure from Bhalil. 06:45 p.m. - Fez. Arrival in the spiritual heart of Morocco, a maze of alleys, souks, doors, and scents. Before going to the hotel, we’ll admire the view of the city from the Marinid Tombs. Dinner will be included.

### Day 10: Fez - Tangier

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Guided City Tour of Fes. Admission included. Lunch and dinner included. We will discover Fes with an informative scenic tour. We will conclude the visit with an included lunch at an ancient palace of the Medina district. At the beginning of the afternoon, we will travel towards the north of Morocco. Arriving in TANGIER in the mid-afternoon. Dinner and hotel accommodation included.

### Day 11: Tangier - Seville

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Travel via ferry from Africa to Europe. We will have some free time in Tangier, a good chance for some last-minute shopping, perhaps? We will return to Spain by ferry. The coach will not travel on board the ferry, therefore, each passenger will be required to carry their own piece of luggage with them. We will arrive in Algeciras or Tarifa and continue on to SEVILLE. Evening arrival.

### Day 12: Seville

Our visit to Seville will be very special, we combine a part by bus and on foot with a boat ride along the Guadalquivir River that will allow us to appreciate the best views of the monuments and places that the city offers. A local guide will explain the history and culture of the capital of Andalusia and show us its most beautiful corners. We will begin with the visit around nine in the morning. We passes by the Cathedral-Giralda, Santa Cruz neighborhood, Banks of the Guadalquivir River, Torre del Oro, Maestranza Bullring, Cartuja Island, where the Expo took place and which currently houses the "Isla Mágica" amusement park, María Luisa Park with the beautiful Plaza de España. Total duration of the visit is about 3 hours (including the boat ride). Free time in the afternoon. The guide will offer you optionally the possibility to visit the cathedral and in the evening to attend a popular flamenco tablao. 【The itinerary departing after April 1, 2025】 Our visit to Seville will be truly memorable as we blend a bus and walking tour with a scenic boat ride along the Guadalquivir River , offering the best views of the city´s monuments and landmarks. A local guide will enrich our experience with insights into the history and culture of Andalusia´s capital, starting our journey around nine in the morning. Highlights include the Cathedral and Giralda , Santa Cruz neighborhood , the Guadalquivir riverbanks , Torre del Oro , Maestranza Bullring , Cartuja Island (former Expo site and home to Isla Mágica amusement park), and María Luisa Park with its stunning Plaza de España . The tour, lasting approximately 3 hours including the boat ride, will conclude with free time in the afternoon. Optionally, the guide will offer the opportunity for those interested to visit the cathedral and attend a flamenco performance at a tablao in the evening.

### Day 13: Seville - Merida - Evora - Lisbon

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: a beautiful scenery where we will visit walled villages. Evora Chapel of bones. We will leave Seville and set out on a stage of scenic beauty. Through hills and olive tree groves we will enter Extremadura. We will stop in JEREZ DE LOS CABALLEROS, this town once belonged to the Knights Templar and is where Vasco Nuñez de Balboa was born. We will then enter Portugal. MONSARAZ, is one of the most picturesque villages in Portugal with old fortified walls, a castle, great views and white-painted streets brimming with flowerpots. We will then travel to the city of EVORA, declared a World Heritage Site thanks to its white-painted streets, Renaissance palaces and cathedral. Time for lunch. We will also visit the impressive Chapel of Bones (admission included), which was built using the bones from over 5000 skeletons! We will arrive in LISBON toward the end of the day.

### Day 14: Lisbon

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: City Tour of Lisbon. Evening transfer. In the morning we will have a sightseeing tour with a local guide. We will visit the tra­ditional neighborhoods including the Belem district, which is the birthplace of the great Portuguese navigators who sailed the oceans in the Fifteenth Century. We will have a look around the Monument of the Discoveries, Belem Tower, and the beautiful Jeronimos Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy the free afternoon when you are free to explore the city at your own leisure. In the late afternoon, we will have a transfer to the Restauradores Square, a public square with plenty of restaurants and cafes. We suggest you ride the Elevador Da Gloria funicular that takes you to the viewpoint of San Pedro with beautiful views over Lisbon and the Bairro Alto. Return to the hotel.

### Day 15: Lisbon
